| Oklahoma YTers please check in Manolos Mom called me this morning to tell me that there were 37 tornadoes in OK last night. She is at work and not near a computer. Starting this thread ... praying that all of our YTers in OK are ok this morning.

| The Tulsa area is safe, no tornadoes near us that I've heard of. OKC was the worst hit I think. Glad to see you start this thread - I'm worried about everyone.

| We were very blessed and the worst of the storm passed about six miles south of us and we just got some hail and rain. We still all hunkered down in our "safe spot" until it passed over though. Chloe just thought it was all a game! -C

I don't know...I did not hear it; but I have heard of outbreaks that were in high numbers like that. Those are scary storms I grew up in the midwest and have a fear of them. I prefer the hurricanes down here. At least we have days to prepare.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm here and all okay in the far NE corner of the State. Bonny is right, most of the bad storms were down near OKC/Norman. We were cloudy all day and that kept our temps down, not enough energy for tornadoes here....we got very lucky! One of the OKYR girls though did have family members that died, my prayers are with their family.

| I am safe and sound. They started forming a few miles east of my house. We were ready to head to the cellar with all my furbabies in tow. They were scared, I think because they new that I was scared. All of our foster homes have been checked with to assure that everyone is ok. My sisters (symysmom) great-nephew and his siblings are in the hospital in critical condition and lost their Mother to this horrible storm. I posted about their condition in another thread. Thank you for checking in on us. Donna (symysmom) is safe but very concerned about her great-nephew. |
