Prayer needed!
 
Hi everyone, As some of you know I found a lump in my breast in the beginning of Dec right after my 49th Birthday. It has been an emotioanl rollercoaster. Finally tomorrow I am going in for my core needle biopsy. I am a nervous wreck and dreading it. So I would appreciate everyone praying for me. The procedure will be done around 10:00 am. Thanks for all the support!!:rolleyes:

As an almost 11 year breast cancer survivor, I hope that you will not have that diagnosis. I do know what a roller coaster this is, and I will be hoping and praying that you will be fine. Let us know what you find out. I do know that after my biopsy it took some time before I knew anything. :( I hope you learn something soon. I go for my mammogram every year on or near my birthday, and I will be having my annual one next month. It is always a day for celebration. Best of luck to you.:thumbup:

Wow congrats to you on 11 years!! That is something to clebrate! I can't imagine if it is cancer how I will handle it, just the thought of it has driven me near crazy. Thank God I have this forum and my dogs to take my mind off things for a while:D Thank you everyone for the support!

My prayers are with you SpirtWings. I had a fine needle breast biopsy for a lump several years ago that fortunately turned out to be a cyst that just needed to be aspirated. It didn't really hurt. I pray the same is true for you. Good Luck.:rose:

And right behind that I'm praying that we are closer to a cure for breast cancer (all cancer for that matter).... it's about time.

I've had multiple needle and surgical biopsies on lumps over the years, and still know the fear you are facing now. All have been benign, but scare the heck out of me every time.

I am praying for a cure as well. I can't imagine going through this again, wow you must be a very strong woman.
