Blossom and Kim need prayers -- Urgent
 
Please stop what you are doing and say a get well prayer for Blossom and a comforting prayer for Kim. Kim asked me to post -- she is beside herself with concern..... If I get any of the details wrong, Kim will correct me when she is up to posting.

Blossom had a hypocalcemic (eclampsia) episode this morning and is at the emergency vet. Apparently Blossom was nursing the pups, Kim noticed her panting more than usual, and within just a few minutes she was shaking and unable to stand. Kim grabbed her up and dashed out the door to the emergency vet -- by the time the vet took her temp. it had spiked to 105.....

If all goes well Kim will get to pick her up late this afternoon --- PLEASE PLEASE PRAY.

Thank you ALL for the prayers for Blossom & myself, we just got home with her and she is acting like herself, but I am still worried about her. I just knew I had lost her today, but thank the good Lord above she is here, it hit her so fast without any warnings. The puppies are wean but she would occasionally feed them, I really don't know why & how it happen, I thought I covered all the bases, but I really do appreciate the prayers, it means a lot to me, just continue to pray for her, her level isn't up where it should be yet, and keeping her from nursing them is going to be hard, the first thing she did when she got home was go to the puppy room door and look at me like let me in. I borrowed one of Kyleigh's one piece outfits and put on her, so we will see what happens. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. :love:

Kim I am so relieved for both you and Blossom........and her babies who need their mama. I've been thinking about all of you since seeing this thread and praying everything would turn out alright. I am so glad Blossom is home where she belongs.
