Update on Jack I just want to come in and say thank you all ever so much for your continued prayers for Jack and myself. We are still in great need of everyones prayers. God is providing me with abundance of strength and the ability to care for Jack and I know it is through all those praying this has come to be. I am managing fine. Repeat of Brain CT will be done again the first of September. His Neuro Surgeon a week ago said the CT Scan showed he still has a tremendous amount of swelling around his brain. I am so thankful for the Dr.s he has, they have been great. Please know how much each and all of your phone calls, cards and pm's and emails have meant to me, I feel so uplifted through each and everyone. Thank you again for the most beautiful flowers. God Bless you each and everyone. Connie your being a phone call away really has gotten me through the most difficult time of my life, so appreciated you coming in and posting the thread here for prayer, I (and Jack) am ever so grateful and feel so blessed with your friendship, as we also are with each and everyone here. Much love and appreciation from us both, Patti and Jack |
Patti, I have been following your story and I just have to say I believe God is really answering your prayer. I can tell you are truly a christian and a believer of prayer. That is what it is all about. Faith and belief. You must believe as though it is and not just hope. You have to believe with no doubt. It seems that is what you are doing. I will be praying the same prayer and I believe Jack will continue to improve. Your prayer has already been answered. You just need to keep believing. Love, Sandra and Shayla:) :aimeeyork |
How is Jack doing? I pray he is showing improvement and I pray you and Jack both are getting all the help and support you need. I will continue to pray that Jack makes a full recovery; I know it will take time. Hugs. |
Wow Patti, your husband definately has an angel watching over him. My prayers continue to go towards you and your family and especially your husband. I pray he gets stronger with each new day. (((HUGS))) |
Its amazing to me how much I think about Jack & Patty and how they are holding up when I don't even know them...:p Still praying for you both! |
I am a believer and will also keep both Jack and you in my prayers! |
:angel2dl: It is very apparent that God is working his wonders with Jack. I pray for a speedy recovery for Jack and for Him to bless you and your loved ones too. :angel2dl: |
Dear Patti, :lovewings I'm so sorry to hear about Jack. I pray that he will make a speedy recovery. He sounds very strong and with God on your side he will do great. God Bless you too. I pray that one day all of your worries will be a thing of the past. xoxoxoxo |
Thank you all for your continued prayers 1 Attachment(s) I just want to let you all know how very much your prayers mean to us. Jack's progress is very slow. Using his work book in reading and comprehension is limited to 10 minute sessions, we do what we can when he is able. We can not begin to count our many blessings, the Dr.'s and everyone find it so amazing that he has progressed to the point that he has. I know that his progress up to this day is due to all your prayers being lifted on his behalf , also my behalf in enabling me to care for him, we are grateful to each of you for your continued prayers. Jack is not able to be getting up and using the walker in our home by himself, however, there are times that when my back has been turned he has done so, last week he fell and Prairie Bea's Teddy Bear helped to cushion his fall, thankfully he didn't hit his head, Dr. checked him and all was okay from that fall. The Neuro Surgeon had him fitted to a safety helmet so to protect his head, as she put it to him, he can't withstand another secondary head injury. The swelling around his brain is still very extensive. We go again in couple weeks for another CT Brain Scan. We are all in much prayer that this swelling subsides considerably, it has also caused a lot of visual problem with his right eye as the swelling has caused a lot of pressure upon the eye sockets. Jack is very cooperative and is not difficult to take care of, for this to be so once again I praise God for all those lifting us up in prayer. I took a picture of Jack with Prairie Bea's Protective Teddy Bear and will post it for you all. Much Appreciation and Love, Patti and Jack |
Oh Patti! I'm so glad to see the picture of Jack with his guardian angel teddy bear! Bless his heart...and yours too! You take such wonderful care of him and through all of this, I have never once heard you complain. You are an amazing lady, Patti! Hugs to you, Jack and the little babies! You are always on my mind and in my prayers! |
Patti is so great to get an update and see a picture of Jack. I continue to pray for healing for Jack and strength for you to continue your loving care of Jack. |
