Prayers for me scared breast exam scare I did a breast exam and found a large lump about the size of a silver dollar. under my breast. it's hard and moves when pushed. I'm waiting til morning to go into the clinic. Like most of us, I don't do them often enough. So it's been since before Christmas since my last. |
I'll keep you in my prayers that all will go well. Try not to worry before you are looked. Easy to say I know, but try. |
I will keep you in my prayers. Hopefully it is a cyst. Do you get routine mammograms. |
How long had it been since you last did a breast exam. If it was last month then it's probably either breast tissue or a benign tumor. Sometimes lumps show up in the breast if you eat a lot of chocolate. Never eat chocolate or drink coffee the night before a mammagram. Prayers will go out to you that it isn't serious. |
Update I'm going to a surgical consult on April 7 at 1:45, they're talking right now about testing and possible removal. Ugh this is all I need right now. ty |

Prayers headin your way...... |
Oh Dear, take it from one that has been dealing with that for almost 5 years, be glad they found what ever it is now, early detection is the key, cysts, and tumors can be removed with no problem, they even do it as an outpatient.Probably on your next appointment the surgeon will do just a sonogram, usually once a mammogram shows something different, they referred you to a surgeon. You can pm me I'll give more info. Sending a hug your way, and my wishes for a successful procedure. |
good luck, im sending prayers for you right now... |
I'll post as soon as I can. Right now I can't even focus enough to do the paperwork for surgery. |

Five nobegules? were found. I'm having a mamagram on Thursday. So again wish me luck. |
Hopefully they are benign and I will keep you in my prayers. |
I had a scare last year during a routine mamogram. I went for 2 additional tests and they decided it was nothing. I hope you get good news too. It is absolutly terrifying to wait for the results. |
I'm praying for you too. It is very scary feeling like you have lost control of your body. Keep us posted. |
I've had 3 different lumps removed at various times and all mine were benign. It was a simple surgery, almost no pain afterwards. A little bit of aching but nothing that a couple of tylenol didn't take care of. Hoping you get good news too! |
they put off sugury til April 23, they informed me that two out of the five are postive cancerous. So I'll be starting a new treatment after surgery. Thanks for the prayers all. I'm still scared and alot blue. I'll be going to Roanaoke for care. so my fmaily will be moving to his Moms for a few days. { my husband is blind and my two kids while super sweet are going to need some extra help.} |
I'm so sorry! I pray that your surgery goes well and the doctors are able to remove it all. Please keep us updated on how you're doing. {hugs} |
Please keep us posted. We are all waiting for good news after your surgery. |
They found something in my last mammo so I had to go back the day before Thanksgiving for further testing and it turned out to be nothing. Try not to panick it could all be ok. |
