Please pray for my son
 
He just turned 40 and is in jail on cocaine charges.
I thought he was clean, I am not going to bail him out, he has to learn before it is too late. He also has type11 diabetes.
Pray for me too, I am so physically and mentally exhausted.

I am so sorry your going threw hell right now Donna.
If these kids (young man) only realized the kind of torture
parents go threw worrying about them I think they would
think twice before doing things that they shouldn't be doing.
I hope he get's the help he needs both mentally and physically
so he can lead a productive life down the road.
I'll keep you and him in my prayer's.

Im sorry for what you are going through with your son...no matter how old they are, or get to be, they will always be our babies. I will keep you and your son in my thoughts and prayers....hang in there...

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through.....my youngest sister (21) has had similar problems to your son and I've seen the heartache it has caused my parents, so I can relate in a way. I'll be thinking of you and praying you get through this difficult time, (your son too....addiction is a terrible disease) Love and (((hugs))) to you xxx xxx

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.
I have not talked to him, but if he calls me I will tell him that I just can't help him this time and see if they have a Bible that he can read.

Donna, I can tell you from experience that "Hard Love" is the best approach. It isn't until they learn REALLY LEARN that they must be accountable and pay the consequences for their actions that they have a reason to change.

I will keep you close to my :love: sending lots of :hug: and :hands:

I'm sorry to hear that. :( We mother's never stop worrying about our children no matter how old they are. So I pray that your son can turn his life around and you won't have that worry or stress in your life. :hands:

Oh, Donna! I am so sorry to hear about your son. Our kids can really put us through the mill. I hope he can find the help that he needs to beat his addiction. We will be praying for both of you!! :hands:

I am so sorry that you are going through this but the best thing that my mother ever did for me was letting me fall and not bailing me out of things that I had gotten myself into but she was there for me when I was truely ready to get help. She says it was the hardest thing she ever had to do was watch me become someone else and she couldn't do anything to stop it and she couldn't help me.You and your son are in my thoughts and prayers.

Donna, I am so sorry for all that you are going through. Growing up is so hard for them and 'tough love' is the only way some times.

I can take most things when it involves me but when it's my kids, I'm a wreck so I can relate. You and your dear son are in my prayers.

I was looking for the right reply to this...and this is it! The jail won't let you talk to him...of course sweetie. It's not a hotel It's jail.
