Prayers for my friend , please
 
This morning I had to call an ambulance for my friend Gilles . He had difficulty to breath .
The doctor sent him to I.C.U . later doctor told me it have to do with his heart.
Hope he'll be better soon .

Oh Diego, I know he has been a long time friend and I am so sorry but like I have mentioned there is so much they can do and have learned so much in the past 10 years. The Canadian health system it wonderful in some ways but there are times you have to wait for a procedure. Do you think he will be taken care of immediately. I will keep Gilles in my prayers and do keep us up on his progress. Hugs, Joan

When he arrived , the nurses were there waiting for him . The doctor checked him and said it was his heart .

Oh no! We will definitely keep him in our prayers. The others are right though...with the treatment options available these days, there's a lot of hope for a complete recovery. Please keep us updated. :nursing::hands::hands::hands:

Diego, thank you so very much for starting this thread. YT prayers work miracles. From what I have come to know about Gilles, he is a wonderful person and a true Champion for Yorkies in need. Please send my fondest regards to him when you see him and let him know that he is in my thoughts and prayers.

I just received a phone call from the doctor . Gilles is not doing well . They had to stabilized him . Now , they are giving him medications , hoping for the best . I know , he is a fighter and he'll be better soon .

Yesterday , I went to see Gilles . They are keeping him sedated because he talked about returning to work and taking care of the little ones . Dr told me he was too agitated . This afternoon , I'll go see him .

My friend was transferred in a Montreal hospital . As soon as I have other news I'll let you know .

That sounds great Diego, a large city hospital can give him much better care. He is in our thoughts and prayers. I hope Montreal is not too far but even if you can't visit the good care is important right now. Hugs, Joan

Gilles had complications during his heart exam . The nurse told me , he is on a monitor and he receive medication regularly .

Thanks for the update Diego. I'm glad they are giving you up dates but it must be so hard for you. We feel so helpless at a time like this but prayers are really the best. Hugs to you.

I'm so sorry your friend is ill, but as others have said, they have come such a long way in treatment of heart disease, and it sounds like he is in good hands. I've said a prayer for him and will keep you and him in my thoughts and prayers. I hope to see a good update soon!

Diego took the yorkies to Helena's (sp) last night and took the bus to visit Gilles, he is not doing well at all. Let's keep sending YT prayers.
