				 | Update Gilles is on his way to our local hospital . He'll stay there for treatments , if everything goes well he will be home Monday or Tuesday . Cardiologist told him that he had a little stroke during the exam . Gilles will have to take an appointment in 3 months for other tests . If those tests aren't good he will have heart surgery . |

				 | So glad he is coming back closer to you and hope the test will prove no surgery necessary. If he does need it, believe me they can work wonders. My son-in-law had a triple by pass at 48 and it fine now but of course he is smarter and gets lots of exercise and eats a more healthy diet. Diego you must be somewhat relieved tonight and just be assured, we will keep praying.

				 | I went to see Gilles . He looks better now . I was a little nervous when I heard him talk because it sound like if he was drunk but the nurse explained to me that it was normal for what he has been through . Sometimes I had difficulty to hear what he was saying but didn't asked him to repeat . I am so happy that he feel better . |

The slurred speech is normal when one has a stroke. Patrick did that and I, like you, didn't ask him to repeat himself. He was scared enough and I felt that it would make it worse to point it out. He later told me that he didn't even realize that he was doing it. We thank God every day that he completely recovered. I am praying the same for Gilles! You are a good friend to Gilles and I know you are a great reassuring comfort for him. Please let him know that we are praying for him and for you as well.

				 | That is so true Betteanne, I see it here so often. A small stroke may leave them with speech problem, loss of one or more limbs but with therapy most come back. We are praying for you both Diego.

				 | Gilles is doing better . He don't have the monitor and oxygen . This afternoon, he walked a little . He is a little discourage about the tests he'll have to do in 3 months and the possibility to have a surgery . I encourage him by talking to him positively . He wanted to see the little ones and knew it was impossible to bring them at the hospital . So , I made him a very special photo album of the little ones . He was so happy to look at it . He is supposed to return home on Tuesday . |
