Pray for my husband
 
He has been sick for 5 days, fever, weak, vomiting, etc.
He is in the emergency room now. They don't know what is wrong with him.
He is 69 and works 7 days a week even if he is sick.

Donna, I am so very sorry your hubby is ill. Hopefully once they get him on meds he will feel better. Praying for a quick recovery.

That happened to my hubby a few years back when he was working and going to school for caterpillar,(swing shift) then working weekends bartending and when he would be on the first shift at cat, he would detail cars, he just wore himself down, and was dehydrated, so they admitted him for one or 2 nights, but, at the time, he was only in his 20's. Your hubby needs to slow down and start taking some days off and enjoying life. Prayers are with you and your hubby..

Donna, I will keep your DH and you in my thoughts and prayers. I understand the work-a-holic male. I live with three -- my husband and two adult sons! They would be so much healthier if they could learn that WORKING and relaxing are two different things.

I sincerely hope that the doctors can get him back on his feet and feeling fit at a fiddle quickly.

There is a terriable stomach flu going around. It is one of the worse in years and it makes you feel so bad. Prayers to your husband to get better fast...

Donna so sorry to hear about your husband.. Will say prayers for him. I know what its like to worry about your DH.. I almost lost mine twice now. I thank God everyday that I am with him.

Thanks all. He has pneumonia and they wanted him to stay in the hospital but he wouldn't, had one of his guys come pick him up this morning and he is at his farm.
Pneumonia affects the mind, I never knew that.
He is so sick but I can't make him do anything.
Pray for me too, he is driving me crazy.

Just seeing this Donna. Men! They are so thick!
It's important for him to take this seriously. Did you know that
pnemonia can also cause the blood to become septic? That happened
to my SIL father. Please tell him to get his butt on the couch at least.
I do hope he listen's to all of us. I feel for you, I really do.
Keeping him in my thoughts and prayer's.

Donna, I am just seeing this. I am so sorry you husband is so sick. I pray he makes a speedy recovery. I know how stubborn men can be when it comes to their health. Hang in there. :ghug:

Pneumonia kills 60,000 a year.

This man is so stubborn, he has been gone all day. He will not quit, am sure he will die working.
He surely keeps me upset but we have tried everything to get him to slow down.

Thats how mine was too, but, now that he's 53 he has slowed down some. He will still go out and putsy around in the garden, etc, and helps our son on projects, but, he knows when he's had enough. Will still keep him in my prayers
