My son Alex is very ill!!! Please pray for him!!! I posted this thread about Alex a couple weeks ago(but now we are in trouble): http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/off...l-tuesday.html Now it seems like what he's got that time, came back. Ever since saturday morning Alex(my skin baby) stopped eating his milk and yesterday(sunday) he stopped drinking his lucolate...(the special drink that kept him hydrated) Well we've been at the hospital on sunday and the doctor said it's just a cold so you can go home, cause we can't do nothing...He said he will eat eventually...WHAT AN IDIOT!!!:mad: And I was a bigger IDIOT that I listened to him.:mad: He didn't even gave me any advice of what to do if he doesn't eat or ANYTHING!!!:mad: I THINK HE WAS IN A HURRY TO HAVE HIS LUNCH BREAK!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad: I have an appointment today in an hour to see his GP and thery said Alex might need to go to the hospital and they might put him on a drip!!! I haven't slept now for 4 days, because he was quite poorly since thursday!!! Please keep Alex in your prayers!!! We could use every single one right now! BTW Today I will make a complaint about that STUPID doctor!!! |

I hope your little guy is going to be okay..I can't tell by the picture how old he is, but, I can tell you a little story about when my daughter was little, which may give you some hope(as far as what that Dr told you), My daughter was 1 1/2 years, and she ended up getting 3 kinds of infections (yeast, bacterial and one other kind)(all at one time), she was my oldest child, and of course, I was about to go nuts, she couldn't eat or drink as she had this infection down in her throat, and was just miserable. The Dr I had(well, he was def. a quack), but, he told me, she will be fine..I said she can't eat or drink, he said believe me, she will be okay..She didn't eat or drink for about 3-4 days until the virus cleared up, but, did make it and is now 33 and expecting baby number 3...Your little guy is in my prayers, and I know he's going to be okay...The good Lord is watching over him! |
Update on Alex Came back from the Dr a few hours ago but had to spend time with Alex as he wouldn't stop crying...:( I have seen my fav doctor(her name is Alex(Alexandra) too)!!!:) Well, she checked him over and she discovered that he has a ear infection(both ears are sooooo red inside):( She gave me 2 types of antibiotics and some more Calpol and she wants to see him again tomorrow morning at 10:30 She said he will be fine if he doesn't eat or drink very much now but she assured me that he will once the temperature goes down...That is exactly what I needed: An answer to what is wrong with him A solution Reassurance She gave me all of the above!!!:) I can't belive that the Dr that checked him over on Sunday didn't saw the ear infection when he looked in his ears!He just said his ears are stuffy:mad::mad::mad: Again what an IDIOT:thumbdown! Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to send good thoughts and prayers our way. It means a lot to me and I am sure Alex when he will grow up!:thumbup::thumbup: I will keep you all updated! Hopefully Alex will have a peacefull night and I can catch on with my sleep. I really need it! |
Something you may want to do, now that you will know what to watch for. My g-kids had ear infections all the time, something warm on their ears really helps until you can get them in to the Dr. (my g-daughter ended up having to have tubes put in her ears, as she was having ear infections all the time), but, you can take a warm wet cloth or a blow dryer and blow it in to their ears when they have these, it really helps until you can get them in to the Dr. Glad he's going to be okay, he sure is a little doll |
just seeing this. Glad that you got your answers. Hope that he starts feeling better. It is so frustrating when you doctors don't give you anything but more questions and worries. I think that the least they can do is make sure you are comfortable with everything before they let you walk out their door. They are the doctors, not us...that's why we go to them! I am very sorry your baby Alex is sick . I will pray for him, and to get well. You are right, the ear infection should have been caught Immiedatley. I am sure your boy's doctor let you to to be sure he is keeping down liquids. That is the most important thing, and getting rid of the infections.. my son always was sick as a baby, and had constant ear infections too. I am a single mom , and it was so scary to have a ill baby all the time , and to be alone. |

I had two incidents with two different sons and two different doctors where they screwed up , mostly because I think they had a golf game to get to :( Dumb asses. I know it can be scary. I'm glad your new doctor gave you answers. :) |
