So far, no news about her ware about. Thank you all for your good wished and prayers.
The day she went missing, I was in the Living room watching a movie (around 9-10am) while the dogs were doing what they were doing everyday, going in and out of the backyard and jumping in and out of my lap. Every now and then you could hear them barking outside but they do that everyday because the the dozen of squirrels that are in the trees. When the movie ended, I went to my room and laid down, calling Kitty. She usually follows me when I go to the room and sleeps on my neck everyday, but after about 5 minutes of her not answering my calls, I got up to look for her and found out the back gate was open and she was gone. She was such an easy target because the other dogs knew to bark and come back to me or my family when someone comes near but Kitty just goes to anyone that calls her.
A few minutes later (had to get out of my PJs), I was out the door knocking on everyone's doors and talking to people and the officer that patrol the school 2-3 blocks from my house.
I just got through randomly walking around outside for a couple hours with my brother. You never know, it could be a close neighbor that took her and is trying to keep her. I think a neighbor a few houses down took her but because of the many flyers and such, could have taken her away to a different location. I can't do anything about it, too, because of no evidence.
Kitty is the sweetest dog, all you have to do is make kiss-y sounds and she will go to you and lay on her back. She will go to anyone and treats a stranger as if they are me. She is used to it because I worked at a doggy boutique and dozens of people played with her everyday.
I am just hoping I can have her back in my arms soon. I'm hoping the large reward can pull the thieves out of hiding. I have already listed on many sites (including craigslist) and just now thought of the newspaper, so will post an ad in one.
Thanks again for your prayers!!! Please keep them coming.
And thanks Anne for everything that you have done for me!!! |
