Can you keep me in your thoughts? I know there are alot of people out there needing special thoughts, so I don't want to take away from anyone but thought I'd post , that maybe, if you had a spare moment, to keep me in your thoughts? I lost my job on Friday. I don't think it has set in yet :( We need 2 incomes to make it, so I don't know what I'm going to do, but pray I get called back soon. Michigan is so bad right now...its horrible. So please...maybe just a small good thought? My fingers are crossed something will work out. Who knows...maybe I'll find something in the animal industry? :aimeeyork |

I always believe that things happen for a reason. I know it must be a scary time for you right now, as I know how I would feel if I lost my job, but He may have greater things in store for you. Keep your chin up and look into that job in the animal indutry if that is where your heart is at, it may all come together. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. |

So sorry to hear you lost your job. I know how your feel right now, I also lost my job 4 years ago. However, now I realize it was the best thing that could happen to me. I eventually got a better paying job that was 25 miles closer to my home. Just take this time to renew your resume and look for that job you will love. One day at a time.... |
I will keep you in my prayers. Hopefully they will call you back soon. I lost my job 3 years ago with no warning after 33 years and a great salary. I felt so lost, and out of sorts at first. But I was able to take care of my FIl until he passed and then spend a 15 months helping my mom and dad( in their late 80's) on a daily basis. When my Mom passed suddenly I was so grateful for the special time I had with her. SInce her passing last year I take care of my Dad so that he doesn't have to go into a nursing home. So I try and look at it that it was a blessing in disguise. |

I'm a firm believer that God never allows a door to close without opening another. As you sit through this, your wilderness experience, I will pray for you (and if you are a believer, with you) that God's perfect will shall be granted to you. I know for sure I know for sure that something great is going to come for you. Right now you are afraid and who would not be. However if you put you thoughts straight u[and ask God for what you want then it would be like pennies dropping from above. My life has not been a crystal stair I always look to God because he is my everything. With out him I would be just dust. Remember he closes one window and then he just opens another one. I will pray for you and your family. I rejoice in the fact that he will work this one out...God bless... |

Thanks so much everyone for your nice words . Its been a full week. Wow - the days are flying by. Nothing has changed at my job. I'm in contact with a girl there. Unemployement pays :thumbdown, so I'm hoping things pick up soon. But in the mean time I'm looking online...checking out different things...career builder, things like that. Checking out some work out home things too. I appreciate everyones sweet words! They mean alot to me! |

Breny~ I'm so sorry about your job....but like a lot of other people say, sometimes things happen for a reason. It's scary and anxiety-producing at the very beginning, but somehow, it WILL work out for you! We're all praying for you, so I am sure something even better will turn up! I know it's hard, but if it makes you feel any better, my best girlfriend just sort of got fired (long story) and she lives in the house next to her place of employment, which is owned by her boss....needless to say, her boss just told her she's got 2 weeks to MOVE! And she's got a cat and a Yorkie! And a sister who just lost HER job too! I told them they're both welcome to stay here for however long they need to, but I know that something good will come of this....you just have to keep thinking that, b/c I'm convinced it will! You're not alone.....not ever! Hang in there and think good thoughts:). |
