Paisley's Big Day 1 Attachment(s) Paisley was diagnosed with a liver shunt. After doing research I made the decision to travel from Texas to Tennessee to have the surgery done at UT. Paisley and I are hanging out in the hotel room right now until tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is the day she gets her surgery. My family and I wish and hope for the best outcome. Please think of her on her big day. Here is a picture of Paisley with me and my girls before we left for the airport to come to Tennessee. |
I am so sorry Paisley has a liver shunt, but you are at the best place to get her treated. Praying for a safe surgery and a great recovery. She is beautiful |
You have a beautiful family.........skin and fur!! I'm so sorry your going thru this, but she will be just fine after her surgery. ;) I'll send some prayers along too. Hugs to all. |
What beautiful girls you have! You are such a wonderful mommy for taking your baby to the best place. I will be sending prayers your way! Please keep us posted! |
We'll be sending up lots of prayers for your little Paisley. I know how worried you must be as we just put Lulu in last Wednesday for her spay plus a biopsy & to fix a shunt should there be one - I cried buckets when I dropped her off that morning. She didn't have a shunt, but she does have MVD. You will be in our thoughts & prayers. |

update I just got a call from UT and Paisley did very well. She was stable through the whole surgery and got her liver shunt taken care of, spay, dewclaw removed, and some teeth pulled. My poor little girl! But she did great! They are going to call me in a few more hours for another update. |
Awe, what a sweet family, it's pretty evident how much Paisley is loved. Many prayers going up for all of you and a special one for Paisley that all goes well with the surgery and she has a total and complete recovery with no complications. |
Glad she is through and did well. Poor girl sounds like she went through the ringer. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!:) |
Glad to here she is doing well. You will continue to be in our prayers. |
Rejoice !!!! What wonderful news and how lucky she is to have you and your family to love and protect her. God bless you all ............:heart to |
What fantastic news. It sounds like Paisley is well on the road to recovery and a long happy life with her beautiful family! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as Paisley continues to recover and get strong enough for the trip home and for a safe travel. |
It is great to hear that Paisley did so well. How is she doing now? Is she home with you already? Joanne |

Paisley seems more like herself this morning. She hates her ecollar, but since she also has stitches from a dewclaw I don't want to take any chances of her chewing out. So when all of our attention is not on her we have to put it back on. I guess only time will tell if the surgery was successful. We pray for normal results in the months to come. |
