I am so sorry that you are still in pain. I will say a prayer that they can do something to help you.

Scheduled for Taursel Tunnel Surgery on 7/30
 
Just got home from the appointment with the ortho surgeon. I am scheduled for out-patient surgery on 07/30. Dr. said that there was a 50/50 chance that the surgery will significantly lessen the amount of pain I am experiencing and will improve the overall condition of my foot.

Needless to say, I am very frightened - becasue there is also a 50% chance that the surgery will not help. The good thing is that chances are surgery won't make things worse.

I know I will be surrounded by the thoughts and prayers of my YT family this coming week. You will never know how much that means to me. :hug: to all of you.

hey that is a surgery i actually know a little about....i helped do a few of them with the podiatrist at the hospital i worked at....that surgery is awesome...not really alot of pain afterwards....some but not really bad...no where near the pain you have been having.....it is very similar to carpal tunnel surgery....works great if that is indeed the problem...i will keep you in my prayers

My thoughts and prayers are with you and I pray the surgeons will be able to find and repair the damage. Take gentle care of yourself and hang in there.

You will be fine Cindy, don't worry so much, but I will be praying and thinking of you. :) You need anything just let me know:) and NO I am not coming down picking up poop...I would if you need me too:D

Cindy, I've added you to my prayerboard. I'm praying that the surgery goes better than expected and that it relieves you of all that nasty nerve pain.
