Austin October Meet-up So Veronique at Lofty Dog is willing to host an October Halloween Event for us at Lofty Dog! Lets get suggestions on dates and times that we would like to have it, and what days and times will everyone be able to make it. I would like to give her a head count on who will be able to make it and how many dogs that are going to be there so if you are planning on coming please reply to this post! She is planning on giving out trick or treat bags to the dogs that include samples of treats, and sample of quality food. It will be fun and you may dress up your dog in a Halloween costume if you have one. Lofty Dog is located on 2nd street in Downtown Austin, between Guadalupe and San Antonio street. I am excited about it! It will be inside and air conditioned! The owners can shop if they want while the dogs play!!!! It should be a lot of fun! |

I think later in the day would probally be better too! I just e-mailed the owner of the store asking about the dates of October 20th and October 27th, those are Saturdays, and asking her about the Sundays following those dates. To see which one would be better for her. I am really excited about this meet-up and am hoping it will be fun for everyone. Please let me know if you are for sure planning on attending for a head count!!!! Happy Halloween!!!!! |
I am relocating to Cedar Park around the first of the year. I'm so excited to see that Yorkie meet-ups and events are in the area! Harley will be so excited to make new friends! ( Me too!) Lol! :animal36 |
Ok so I got two dates back from Veronique at lofty dogs. She said we could have the yt meet-up there either October 21st or October 28th before the store opens at 11:00 am. What do you all think about those dates and time? Which date would you prefer to go to? And would you want to do it at this store? Also who can make it, because I am going to get doggie cupcakes for the babies, and some doggie cookies from a local bakery. So please let me know if you are coming. Thanks |

Ok so the official date for the meet up is October 28th at 11:00 am! Wahoo We finally set it!!!! I am really excited about this meet up. It will be so much fun!!! So since it is the Halloween meet up you may dress your dog up in a Halloween costume!!! If you want to bring friends bring them, and just let me know how many people will be attending!!!! CoCo is really excited too!!!! |

Ok so I will be going Lofty Dog tomorrow to talk to Veronique the store owner, and to get CoCo's and maybe Chloe's costumes. I would love to give her a head count on who all is going to be at the meet up this Sunday so she can plan for people food and I will bring some doggie Halloween cupcakes, or something edible for the dogs. So I will be there and I am bringing CoCo and Chloe. We are really excited about this meet up!!! I hope everyone else is too. Oh and if you cannot find parking on the street, there is a parking garage on Lavaca between Ceaser Chavez and 2nd street. Lofty Dog will validate the ticket for 2 hours too!!!! |

YES! We had a wonderful time and it was so much fun to meet some of the YTers that I have "known" for several months/years! The pups had a fabulous time - they ran around and played so hard!!! Mine slept all the way home. A special thanks to Veronique at Lofty Dog - if anyone lives near Austin, be sure to visit her boutique. It is at Second and Guadalupe and it is really nice. Rexy & Rowdy got the cutest tee shirts!! We'll have to do it again soon! |

Unfortunately, I had a lot more, but the images were either blurry or of the floor! :eek: Yorkies were running around everywhere, and it was tough to get good shots.:D The first one is a perfect example...lol! At the top of the image you can see little Tina and at the bottom of the image is Cooper? (I think) The next one is little Tina. She's a doll! :) Then, Rowdy's Mom with Rexy and Rowdy Then, Chris (My son) holding Gizmo. Look closely, and labrown is in the back with Tina. |
Hey I am so sorry I missed it. I did not get home until way late from going out with friends, and my phone was in the other room so I did not get the alarm that I set to go off :( ! I am glade y'all had fun though, but I am upset that CoCo and Chloe missed all the fun, they even had costumes and everything. But hopefully we will make it next time! |
