Houston August Meet up Hi All! I was just wondering if anyone was interested in meeting up at the end of the month or early next month. I had so much fun with you girls the last time and it has been a while. Well let me know if you are interested! :D |

i really love it here. my husband and i carpool to downtown, then i drive the next 30minutes to cypress. i get here at 8:30 and leave at 4:30 to be home to pick up our son from Kindercare. not so bad if you like what you do. |

I would like to come to a Houston meetup sometime. I live about an hour and a half from there. I'm starting vet school on the 20th so it'll depend on what my schedule is like but I'll try to make it. |
There is a AKC Yorkie Speciality in Houston on August 23rd & 24th at the Crown Plaza. These shows are being held Thursday & Friday before the Houston Toy Dog shows that weekend of the 25th & 26th at the same location. Just thought I would mention it since you are discussing a meet up at the end of the month....might be fun to meet and watch the dog show! |

My crew had a great time at the last meet-up. That park was nice and easy to get to. Will keep checking the thread and see what everyone wants. Do the dog shows let you bring your fur-babies? Look forward in seeing everyone again. |
I'll going to the show on Saturday or Sunday so those two days are good for me. I'm ready to see everyone again! (If you looked at the pics from the last meetup, my husband was the one with all the yorkies perched on him... lol) The only problem with meeting at the show is taking that many dogs... I have 5. I would rather meet at a dog park and let those of us who want to meet at the show, schedule that separately. But if not, I'll just bring one or two. Medusa and ChestersMom, I'm in Deer Park! So I'm not too far from you guys. |

Sorry, I won't be able to attend a meet-up in September. My job requires me to be at work every home A&M game, and there is one every Sat. in Sept. except the 22nd, of course my cousin is getting married that day and I am doing some of the decorations so I must be there. Hopefully we can have another in October, of course my calendar is getting full that month as well, 2 home games and then our local animal shelter is planning their 1st Annual Wiener Fest on the 13th. Pet fashion contests for all dogs in several categories, best dress pet parade, fun run, and then of course dachshunds races. It is going to be a blast. |

I just noticed this thread....... I'll be watching to see what date/location is decided. Not sure if I can swing it for September but I'd sure like to try. I enjoyed meeting everyone at the last one. |

when is it??? Just saw this thread! when and where is the meet up??? We missed it last time so would LOVE to meet up this time. Is it this coming weekend??? :D We live in Sugar Land but can drive anywhere in the Houston area. |
