July DFW Meetup
 
Well, we agreed at the June meetup that we wanted to see each other again next month. Soo... what Saturday is best for July?

We have the 7th, 14th, 21st, or 28th.

I can't come to the 7th or 14th, but I would be game for the 21st or 28th. Pixie's having her other knee surgery July 5th, so she's out next month regardless.

When's good for ya'll?

I am up for any of those dates, and I live like 2 min from the park. If I had known yall were doing it this last weekend I would have gone too. :-( so sorry that CoCo missed yall!!

I vote for the 21st! My dad will be here that weekend & I want him to go sooo bad because I know he'd have a blast (he loves these little guys)

Where do you have the meetups? I'm going to be driving to visit my parents on the 28th and it might be fun to swing through dallas for a meetup if it's on that day.

Ok, so all votes so far are for the 21st and 28th, is that right?

Sadie's Mom, I'd like to meet your dad, too! :D We will be temporarily housing another yorkie for an unknown amount of time, but she may still be here then... it may be fun to bring her, too.
Although - like when we got Bogey, I don't know her or her behaviors yet, so she may be more trouble than fun. I haven't met her yet, just know she's coming. LOL

July 21st, 10:00 am, at the dog park in Southlake.... Objections?

And by the way, if I'm not around it's because we've been moving and don't have internet access (at school now)... but I'll check in and make sure of the date and time before I go, for sure! :D

Oh, and the other yorkie we were going to keep isn't coming. Her stay was short-lived.... :p We had her about 2 days.

I can't come on the 21st - only the 28th. But if you have one early in August maybe I can come to that one.

We usually do 10:00. That way it's not too hot yet.

I will be in Northeast Texas July 28-about August 13or 14 so one of those first weekends would be best for me in August. I was planning on going to Dallas one of those weekends

Thanks for all the help guys! I am super excited to go. We took Choco to the dog park yesterday and he just went crazy! He was hopping all over the place like a little bunny... so funny! Looking forward to meeting you all! :)

Hard to say. In May there were like 13 dogs, I think. In June I think there were 7. It just kind of depends on when we do it as to how many come.

I'm excited, too. I absolutely love going to our "Southlake Dates" :p
My daughter will be back by the July one, so I'll likely bring my daughter and Bogey (who continues to improve on his social skills :p) Pixie won't be over her surgery yet, but we're working on physical therapy and getting her "all better" :D
Maybe she can come to the August one since she doesn't roughhouse or anything anyway :)

I'm sooo glad we started these back up and people are actually coming! And it seems like we get more publicity and new and different people tend to show up each month... :D Just wait till we have like 25 dogs in one day! WOW!

I cant go to a meetup July 21 I have a wedding reception/familly event to go to. How come ya'll always plan these on the only day of the month I have plans :cry:
