total shock he just turned 19 this Feb and is more likea son to me than a brother I am proud of him but on the other hand how in the hell can i protect him if he goes away to war?

My little sister did the same thing. I am still proud of her, and I still love her. I absolutely hate the thought of her being shipped though. I can't stand the thought of even a possibility of losing her. I know exactly how you feel....

Do I need to bring anything?

And still, don't count on me coming - if the weather is bad, I'm not driving 5 hours in the morning... LOL If it's nice and I'm up early, I'll come on up though.
