DFW May Meetup So is there interest in a May meetup? I've been looking at my calendar... How about Saturday, May 19th? It's the weekend after Mother's Day. Sadie's Mom, is that good for you? Want to be sure you can make that one if we do it! |

I am fine with the south lake park at 2:00, however I did see (on another site) a yorkie play day going on in Lewisville at 12 noon the same day . I don't know how many will be attending that one but since I had committed to this one and it is closer to me, then my plan was and is still to meet in SouthLake. Rebel & Chili |

It might be getting really warm temp wise at 2pm in May. We might want to might like around 10am. |
That's a really good point, and our Yorkies can't handle too much heat... especially the smaller fragile ones :p |
You know I just realized that these past few thread reply's are referring to the May play day. The one in Lewisville is this Saturday April 14 at 12:00. and yes, there are other yorkies out there but ours are more fortunate because they have bonding parents like us... HAHA.... Anyway, I saw that on meetup.com and it looked fun but I had all ready committed this Saturday to playing with the yorkietalk.com doggies in Southlake at 2:00. Are we still planning the play day this Saturday in southlake at 2:00? I hope so because I have a friend bringing her yorkie also. Like I said before, we will go wherever in the metroplex and any time is good for us. I am just looking forward to seeing them all play together. The more the merrier! Rebel & Chili |

Yes, we're still on for this Saturday at 2, should be "sunny" and in the 60s - nice (but cool) weather. As for May, I'm game for 10, sounds great for me :D Pixie will likely be missing that one too though as she may not be quite over her knee surgery (8 weeks recovery) and she's also getting spayed May 1st. Yikes! :p But I can come, and Bogey can come! |

DFW May play Okay, I am searching for the May date. Is it the 19th? I am good for Southlake at 10am, just let me know which Saturday. Please bring pictures from the last playday. I bet they were adorable. I was at that race freezing my hiney off and thinking about yall, and wishing I was playing with the yorkietalk crew. Living up here in the "country" we dont have dog parks... so I must ask.... Can Sam run wild or does he have to stay on a leash? If I want, can I keep him on a leash? There are times he will come when called but for the most part he does what he wants to do when he wants to do it! I didnt want to let him go and spend the rest of the day trying to chase him down or run the risk of him getting outside of the park. |
