ATTENTION PLEASE -directions
 
OK,, I just called Dogtopia,, and we are not going to China Spring,, so if you have those directions printed out or keyed in,, dont go there, ,lol
where we are going is 5301 Bosque Blvd. Waco TX 76710
I just spoke with a lady there,, who told me how to get there,,
coming from the north,, on 35,, take Valley Mills Drive to the right,, to Wooded Acres,, cross Bosque Blvd ,, you'll see Target,, big shopping center,, basically in 2 sections,,Dogtopia will be like at the opposite end from the big Target & the number there for Dogtopia is 254 776 3647

I never noticed the two addresses. Sorry! It's the one off of Bosque Blvd in the little mini strip mall to the left of Target. It's behind the Cotton Patch Cafe and right next to Dunlaps.

It is NOT in China Spring! That may have been one of the first locations they were thinking about.

I'm thrilled about tomorrow, but we still need a table. If we don't have one by tomorrow, I'll go pick one up at Wally world. :)

I just want to let everyone know that Lacy is treat aggressive...so before any treats are given to any dogs, can there be an annoucement made please? I will need to pick her up and give her treats to her away from all other dogs.

Sure - I dont see why not. Maybe when we all get there, just remind everyone.

I'll make a point to remind everyone. My plan is to give the treats to the owners and let them decide when and how to give them out. :)

okay thanks. I think it's always important to be careful with giving treats out when a lot of dogs that don't know each other are together... but Lacy can get VERY pissy when treats are around so she has to have treats away from other dogs.

good thought,,, i figure Trixie would be too,, but then i havent a clue how all my girls will behave in a crowd,, Cricket was the only one I took to Southlake MeetUp,, she didnt know what to think at first,, but she behaved very well,, but she is little,, my four behave well together,, but not sure how it go tomorrow,, so,, guess i'd best go in with harnesses and leashes for all~

We had a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone for everything that you did.

We raised $160 for the OK Yorkie Rescue and collected quite a few harnesses and leashes along with a small purse/carrier and a gorgeous pet bed. I will convert the cash to paypal and send a paypal payment to the rescue within a couple of days. I will also box up all of the items donated and mail those off very soon as well.

We need to do this again very soon! A special thanks to Twalla for running the raffle and to her nieces for everything they did. And Cynthia, Patty, Jamie, Theresa, and Karla for all of the wonderful goodies (human and canine) that were brought. Thank you to Shanna, crb, Patty, Barkaholics, Michele, Twalla, Theresa and others who donated wonderful prizes for the raffle, and thank you to Dogtopia for providing a great space and being so nice and helpful to our group. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone. Believe me, my brain is just a little tired right now! lol Gizmo is zonked out as well. :)

We had so much fun! Scooter has been asleep since we got home. We were in such a rush to get home because of Sophia I didn't get a chance to ask about the pup-cakes. Who made the pup-cakes and can you PLEASE send me or post the recipe?? Scooter inhaled the one I gave him (the blueberry) and I would love to make more. His first birthday is next Saturday and I want to make some for him. Please share!!

We absolutely loved meeting everyone!!

We had a great time too! Vicki, Mark, Cynthia and I took all our babies to Petsmart after the meetup and wow did we get some attention! LOL Guess Waco has never seen so many dressed up yorkies together :p Dogtopia was such a cool place..thanks so much Judy and Twalla for putting this together for us! Lots of fun! Wish it could have lasted longer. I am so glad Lacy behaved herself...they are both so tired!

I'm so glad that everyone had a great time! I'm sad that Rowdy, Rexy, and I didn't get to attend. We flew in today from two weeks in Alaska and our plane did not arrive till noon (in Austin) so there was no way we could make it. I hope we have another Central Texas meetup soon!!! Can't wait to see pictures!
