Wow. What a lot of GA peaches! :p I was born and bred in Watkinsville/Athens. Still have brothers there, a sister in Tennille. niece and nephew in Atlanta. Samantha is Georgian by adoption, but when we were there five years ago she looked at me and said: These are my family? They don't even speak Arabic!

I love seeing all these towns that I knew growing up.

I am a Georgia mommy. I have lived in Ga 21 years but have had my yorlie baby for just a few months. Harley is 8 months old and the love of my life. I do not work outside the home so he gives me alot of joy and comfort. We live in northwest Ga, Dallas, Ga. Are there any meetups in this area of the stste? I eventually want to get a female, since Harley has been such a joy. My husband loves him as much as I do.

I have never heard of them, I have a friend that is an excellent breeder, she lives in Douglasville Georgia and is expecting a litter Sept.17. I will check with her about them. Is the kennel in Georgia?

:aimeeyork I just moved to Canton and I am new to the site.My baby Paris Hilton was killed about 6 months ago and I am now ready to get a another yorkie. My home is not a home without a yorkie. If anyone knows of a breeder that has yorkies in Georgia let me know.

luvnhellokitty, I know a breeder in Douglasville, I sent you a message to your profile page.

OK, so I am probably going to get into some hot water here. A little over a month ago my wife and I got a call to South Georgia to see if we could pick up a 4 year old Yorkie that belonged to an elderly lady that was going to a nursing home. We drove down to South Georgia and as we were leaving the groomer's, on the way to the car, she mentioned that Lucky had some pills for the car. We then were told that Lucky "sometimes" gets car sick.

It has been over a month now and we can't take Lucky anywhere, even for a short ride, without giving him medications, and he still gets sick in the car. We have had him to the vet and had all his shots done, he has had a great physical. Lucky was neutered when we got him from the original owner. He has an ADVID chip installed.

Lucky is a wonderful companion to us and is very loving member of the family.

The problem is that we are retired and live in a motor home full time. In other words we travel all the time. This is not fair to Lucky or to us. I feel like we are drugging him all the time for travel.

We have decided to find someone who loves, and understands Yorkies. We will give Lucky and all of his personal items and records to someone if we can find a GOOD home for him.
