I am new to Yorkie Talk. I do not currently have a yorkie but we are looking. I am looking for a breeder in Georgia. I have talked to Debbie at Yorkmont Yorkshire Terriers and I will probably go with one of her puppies. She is very informative. Yorkies are a huge investment (both love and money) and I don't want to make a mistake in where I get our new family member. It's so hard to know who to trust! I've seen the list of questions to ask and such and I think I've covered all of that with Debbie. She also asked ton of questions about our family and what we want. Any advice?

Yorkie mom from Atlanta and weekends from Blairsville. I have two a 2 1/2 year olf girl and a 9 month old male. They get along great and they play and share everything.

Sad Mommy In Georgia
 
Not to long ago my first baby Kaya passed away. I was a newly wed when my husband bought me my little yorkie and we had not even had her for a year when she caught a cold and the vet prescribed her a large doze of bendryl and she over dozed. this happened on the 27th of oct 11. i am still very sad about this and i want to know if there are any breeders around that might have another baby for me. I am so devastated still. She taught me so many things and and helped me with moving out of my parents with out feeling so lonely. I dont want a show dog but i do want another yorkie. i just need help because i still cry every night and miss her even more in the mornings. I never imagined anything could ever hurt so bad. Please help me im not in a position where i can spend a lot of money but i need a companion. i cant begin to explain how i feel.

Check out yorkmont yorkshire terriers. I know she has some older ones for sale.. Not really old and she has puppies. Google the wesite. I can't remember the web address right off hand. She has some nice ones. Just tell her your situation and what you are looking for. Her name is Debbie.

I would also go with Debbie at Yorkmont. She seems so very informative. I have talked with her about an older yorkie (I don't have time for a puppy right now). She is very informative and seems to really know what she is doing. I have enjoyed talking with her.

Yorkmont should be a good choice. 3 of my Yorkies have Yorkmont blood in them from their grandparents.

I am from Dallas Ga. Don' t know where that is? Closest known cities, Douglasville, Marietta, Kennesaw. I have a 11wk old Yorkie named Milo. Would be cool if someone could arrange a Yorkie Talk gathering, like a Georgia chapter :)
