Alpharetta, GA I live in Alpharetta and would love to meet up sometime. I work full time though so it would have to be in the evening or on the weekend. I have one yorkie (4 mths), 1 Chihuahua (4 yrs) and 1 Jack Russell (1 yr). All are under 10 pounds and love to play. How many do you have and any ideas on where we might meet midway? |
I live in Rome and would LOVE to have a Georgia meetup. I work for the school system so I am out until the first of August. What fun! |

hey everyone... yay several more responses!!! I am in Helen Ga. I am glad I started this post. I do go to school (college) but only until 12pm weekdays and so I have evenings and weekends free. hey.. Helen is almost 45 minutes from Gainesville, 1 hour from Alpharetta and a little over an hour from Lawrenceville if that helps. It is in the NorthEast Georgia mountains. My family has a candy store in Helen (Hansel & Gretel Candy Kitchen...My parents own it). |

We have decided on Sunday, Sept 10th @ 10:00 AM!! We are planning to meet for a playdate on Sunday, September 10th at 10:00 AM at a dog park in Lawrenceville. Question about the meetup .... I have never been to a "dog park". Do they check for health or rabies certificates? At this point, I can't make any promises, but I sure would like to come and meet some of my YT friends. :) |

oh... :confused: oh no...i have no clue where my tags are. I never put them on my babies because I don't leave collars on them. They always end up choking when they have collars on and I never want that so i took the collars off and tossed them somewhere...where i cannot remember. ug...i don't know what to do. |

In case I forgot to mention it. The name of the park is Ronald Reagan. Once you get in the park and out of your car the best way to go to get to the dog area is to go toward the playground and go down beside of it on the right and when the walk forks go to the right and the walk leads you to the area. They have 2 one is for under 20lbs the other is over 20lbs. For the little guys it is right off this walkway. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. I can't wait. Man, sounds like fun. But since Skittles is in heat I do not think it'd be a good idea....might have to fend off the all the studs that would be there, plus she is super crabby this time around. Maybe next we can go. Take lots of pics and be sure to tell the rest of us all about it! |
