Question about the meetup .... I have never been to a "dog park". Do they check for health or rabies certificates? At this point, I can't make any promises, but I sure would like to come and meet some of my YT friends. :)

The only thing this dog park requires is a visible rabies tag. If you have any other questions you can PM me if you wish. We are regulars at this particular park.

:confused: oh no...i have no clue where my tags are. I never put them on my babies because I don't leave collars on them. They always end up choking when they have collars on and I never want that so i took the collars off and tossed them somewhere...where i cannot remember. ug...i don't know what to do.

Contact your vet and see if they can issue you another one. I've had to do that before.

I'm glad you told us this as I never put mine on their collars either. I'm pretty sure that I saved the tags though.

My mother-in-law lives in Snellville, but I'm not sure where Five Forks Trickum road is. If I came down Ronald Regan Parkway, then what? Ginger and I would love to join in the fun, as Ginger is an only babydog. I live in Flowery Branch, about four miles from Lake Lanier. We use to live in Lawrenceville for some 20 years.:aimeeyork

Hey Chatties mom I know where Rome is my son plays football down there. I would like to meet up with you all I am a stay a home mom if maybe we could meet to let me follow you down there. Sounds like a great idea.

Coming from Pleasant Hill you get off the Five Forks Trickum exit it's right off of Ronald Reagan and go left, it may be a 1/2 mile give or take on the left. You can't miss it. Hope to see you there. If you have any further questions you can PM me. I live in Snellville off of 78 about 3 or 4 miles from the park and we are frequent visitors.

In case I forgot to mention it. The name of the park is Ronald Reagan. Once you get in the park and out of your car the best way to go to get to the dog area is to go toward the playground and go down beside of it on the right and when the walk forks go to the right and the walk leads you to the area.

They have 2 one is for under 20lbs the other is over 20lbs. For the little guys it is right off this walkway.

Man, sounds like fun. But since Skittles is in heat I do not think it'd be a good idea....might have to fend off the all the studs that would be there, plus she is super crabby this time around. Maybe next we can go. Take lots of pics and be sure to tell the rest of us all about it!

My little stud has just been neutered so Skittles would be safe with him. My other 2 dogs are spayed females. Sure wish you could make it.
