Great to know there are some TN people on here! Knoxville is a great town. We're up there often in the fall for football games. My parents have had season tickets since before I was born. Fanatics, you could say. haha :)

Hi, I am a new member and I live in Soddy Daisy, TN on Flat Top Mountain. I don't have a Yorkie yet. I am looking for a reputable breeder in the area. Any suggestions? Where did you get your puppies from?

I got Bouncer from Dianne Bradley. She used to live in Valleybrook (Hixson area) but moved to Palm Coast, FL. WORTH IT though! She has a website (http://www.yorkiepark.com) She is absolutely WONDERFUL. Good quality yorkies. :)

Hey Everyone I am in Maryville Tn right next to Knoxville. Cant believe there is so many people on Yorkie Talk that are in Tn.

you're from maryville?...i am too...i put earlier that i'm from knoxville only b/c no one really knows where maryville is. that's so random that there is another person from maryville.

Where I live in Soddy Daisy, it is about 30 miles north of Chattanooga, TN. So yes, We are in East TN.

Nice to see so many that are from TN.

Yorkie Meetups in Chattanooga
 
Would anyone be interested in this? There is a Chattanooga Yorkie Group on meetup.com that I just joined but seems no one has really done anything with it since last year! I signed on as organizer and I think it would be great if we got more people in on this! Have a monthly meetup and let our yorkies play while we can discuss how much we love them! Haha I noticed there was a Knoxville Yorkie group too. I think something like this would be great! Let me know what you guys think. Here's the link for both groups:

I am very interested and have become a member. I don't have a yorkie yet, but I am working on it. So I may not be quite qualifed to address the issue of interest at this point.

Ah, lots of Tennesseeans, this is great! I've lived in Chattanooga, Union City, and Knoxville (Jefferson City)....but now I live in Johnson City with my husband who is finishing his degree at ETSU. Sully, our yorkie, was born in LaFollette (where the breeder lives) - that's right above Knoxville. Anywho, ANYBODY in the Tri-Cities area? (Kingsport/Bristol/Johnson City)???

I live in the Lakeland area east of Memphis, TN, and I am the new owner of an eight-week old male yorkie. He doesn't even have a name yet! I have a 12 year old female cocker spaniel, so I have a lot to learn about this breed!

HEY!!! So glad to see a fellow Tennessean on here!! :) I'm from the Memphis area. Actually about 35 miles north in a country town called Munford. I just bought my first yorkie in March. We had to go to Brinkley, AR to get him. I will be happy to do searches if you would like. I don't work and I don't mind.:)

Do you have other animals? I have an 11 year old German shepherd who is a sweetheart, a 5 year old rat terrier who is completely neurotic :D and a 2 year old cat who lets us all live here and is Jasper's favorite playmate :rolleyes: So we have a houseful. Jasper is so great though. Have you tried to look at á yorkie rescue to see if they have any close to you? Are you wanting a boy or a girl?
