I live in Gulf Breeze, FL it's near Pensacola. A man came out to my house yesterday to pump my septic tank. He has a 1 year old female yorkie that he's trying to give away. He said that his friend is in the military and couldn't keep her. I asked if she was housebroken and he said sort of. He said she will do it outside on a schedule, but she won't hold it. Sounds like my pup! He said she's also microchipped. If anyone is interested in her please let me know and I'll give you his information. |
Ringo, you're killin me!!! I was lookin for a Yorkie for my parents before they went up North, my mom is iffy on the dog idea but she loves Pita, my dad really wants one. If i brought them one I know they would love it, but I'm not goin up to see them until June-- I'm sure they won't have any trouble giving her away. |
taje...you could get that Yorkie...what is one more animal?! First find out if she likes cats..... :p...anyway, I was wondering, what do you produce/sell at your farm? |
5 Attachment(s) Pita is the only animal I only have one of...I find that if you have more than one of a species they bond with each other and you don't have as much of an interaction with them. I see it in Pita when my daughter brings her dog over, then Pita is a DOG not my lil princess... so, no, no more doggies, mom and dad'll have to wait. My dad's name is Tim so we always kid my mom saying Timmy needs a dog in case he falls in the well!!! (we're all crazy people, not just me) Anyway, i produce absolutely nothing except animal poo at my house, all of my animals are for enjoyment only, i don't even eat meat from the grocery store and I have pigs too, here are a couple of pictures of my other babies.. |
taje...hey, you can sell poo...call it "manure"...there is a big market for it...and I heard Yorkie poo goes for even more... but she is so tiny...hmmm... just kidding..... :D Love the ferret!! Are those your daughters? |
1 Attachment(s) The ones on the horses are my daughters, they are 20 and 17 now. Here's me and my baby..I look stupid, but it's the only one I have of us. This is the first day I brought her home. I actually have 2 ferrets and that's one of them as a baby the clock is just for size purposes he's about 18 inches long now, they're fun! We call him Badger.. don't know why... Do you have kids? Other animals? What about you other Floridians? You all know my story now, tell yours! |
About me 1 Attachment(s) No kids or other animals....we just got married in December, and just got Ruby in March...I found this site (before Ruby) when we were doggie-sitting Scrappy, my in-laws' yorkie, and he was constipated...anyway, my husband is in law school, so one dog and no kids fits us for now. We still have time, we are only 21 & 23! I do have a nine-year-old brother, so he is my baby still...and he still calls me "Sissy"...I know the clock is ticking on that, tho!! I'll try to post a wedding pic...don't look at my hair, I hated what the hairstylists did and "fixed" it myself...argh...oh well!! ;) |
You look so sweet in your picture and your hubbie is very handsome!! So I'm old, you could be my kid!! So Ruby must really get babied if she's the only baby in your house! My brothers call me Sis too, the whole family does, now my nieces and nephews call me Aunt Sis... sounds inbred to me!! It's really great the people you meet on this forum! How old is Ruby? Where were you during the hurricanes? Did you have alot of damage? Any other Floridians? |
Thanks for the picture compliments...I know, my husband is out of my league!! Ha! May 16 will be 7 years that we've been together...when we started dating I was 14 and he was 16..and I was thinner, and he was heavier! I'm trying to lose some weight, tho...heart disease runs in my family so I need to be more healthy!! We just got Ruby on March 11, so she wasn't with us for the hurricanes...she is about a year old, tho...we got her from a high school girl who no longer had enough time for her (with school work, a job, and friends)...since we don't know her exact birthday, we are going to celebrate it on March 11 from now on...yes, she is spoiled rotten...when we first got her, she was used to being alone so much that she would go off and play by herself...now she follows us around all the time...I did crate train her in one day, tho, so I am proud of that...she loves her crate and will go in voluntarily...she is (obviously) our first dog together, and my 2nd dog ever, so I worry too much about her!! |
I am from Tampa and have an 11 month old Yorkie named Reagan. He is a doll baby and so much fun to have around! A bit of a barker and loves to chew paper into tiny bits but is 100% trained and basically well-behaved. |

Marci...here is how to post a picture: Once you've clicked "Post Reply," (you know how to do this), scroll down to where it says "Additional Options," then click "Manage Attachments"....from there, hit browse, find the folder, select your pic, then "upload"...my pictures are usually too big (It will tell you so if this is the case), then just resize and retry...when you "Submit Reply" they will show up... |
