I'm slowly recovering for photographing the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. We returned home yesterday and I think my body is finally forgiving me for being so brutal to it! I never knew that my legs could ache so bad!

Hehe . . . Happy New Year to all! Perhaps this year, we can do an impromptu get together if we don't get bombarded by hurricanes again!

Take it from someone who fell to the depths of despair with the empty nest syndrome...My yorkies have truly helped, its amazing! ....They won't leave me either!

Hi Yorkie Lovers, I think I have me a little baby. Just wanted to share my story and hope things will work out. I received a call on Friday from a friend that was helping me locate a baby. She called me and asked, "Do you love me"? I thought, oh my goodness....why is she asking me this. I then started screaming and said yes, did you find me a baby? She said call this number. The baby is 5 years old and $300.00. WOW! I was excited. Potty trained and everything. So, I called the number and actually knew the lady that was calling for her friend. All of that to just tell you guys this and get your opinion, since I will be a new mom of a yorkie baby. The owner is older and febrile and can't take care of the baby anymore. The baby is 2 1/2 pounds. I should be hearing from her on tomorrow. I thought she would have called me the weekend, but she didn't. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed! The only thing that I'm concerned about......the baby slept with the owner and my hubby is not going to want him to sleep with us. By him being five years old, do you think that would be a problem, since he is not a baby? Do the Yorkie's shed? Please help me. Oh another thing....she told me that the baby would be FREE!!!!! WOW, this is too good to me true, becuase with my hubby being ill and not working it was going to be very difficult to purchase one. My hubby is not getting any better and this will be great! Who knows! He might let him sleep in the bed with us!!! Someone please respond to my questions! Thanks! G

We are from Columbus, Mississippi just moved her from Puyallup, Wa.
I have a little girl named lexi that just turned a year at the end of January....was wondering if the southern states get together like they do in Seattle and Tacoma all the time for play dates?

We live in Vernon, Al which borders columbus. Don't Know if there are many play dates around here for sure or not but it should be.

A play date would be great....we need to map out the central area for all that want to participate!

Sounds great to me, lexi would love to play. Just let me know when and where are we are in..hehe

Hi Everyone I am in Dothan, Alabama Also. I have a little 8 month old girl name Wheezes. I just lost my blonde yorkie. A bigger dog killed her. Does anyone in this area know of a breeder that breeds Blond Yorkies. She came from Dothan. I bought her when she was 18 months old. Her master did not want her any more. Thanks in advance if anyone can help. I really miss my Honey, hoping to get another one.

Hi All, Need some advise on my little ones . Rocko is 7mo. and coco 4mo.. I took Rocko and Coco to the vet and they check out find. When I asked the vet when would my little girl go into heat,he said not until around 8mo. Is that so? THey get along pretty good and sometimes they sleep together. I just moved from Alabama. I got my male several years ago from a small town (Killen, Alabama) near Florance and I got my female in Huntsville. They sure do make life interesting. They are so full of energy. We now live in Iowa, but Sophie still thinks she is a "southern belle". They are so sweet...

That is so funny...I live in Center Star, but our postal address is Killen, AL because Center Star is too small to have a post office! And you got your Yorkie in Killen. If you don't mind me asking, who is the breeder in Killen you got him from? I got my yorkie from a breeder in Florence, AL. I love him to bits! I would like to meet some fellow yorkie lovers in this area.

Do you sell Yorkies?

We obtained Sampson thru some good friends that live in Killen. I called my friend last night to make sure it was ok to give out her name, she said it was ok with her. Her name is Shiela Belcher and she has the mom of our Sammy. She loves her yorkie and has turned me into a real yorkie fan (we have 2 yorkies).

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted you guys to know that I got word yesterday that my baby girl was born on yesterday. I am sooooo excited! I got to work today, with pictures and everyone was so happy for me. I'm getting her for my ill hubby, but I think I'm more excited about her. She ways 4 ounces. HAHA! How cute. Oh, she is a Morkie! I just can't believe she is here. She was scheduled for the 15th, but when I got the email yesterday, I was elated! Now, this is my first Morkie......send me pointers. The owner said that I can have her, I think 8 weeks versus 6 weeks. That's fine with me! Just want her to be with Mom has long as it takes and thennnnnn I will be her Mom. I guess you guys can tell that I am so excited. Well, I better go and thanks for reading and sharring in my excitement. Happy Mom!!! G

We drive up to Altanta Saturday to get our little boy... We are so excited... I even dreamed about him last night... Man, this is just crazy... I have three human kids and i feel like I am expecting my 4th child...
