We met Vicky and Zoe!! Me and Mitzy drove down to Tallahassee and met Vicky (mblab) and Zoe yesterday and had SO much fun!! Mitzy was a but skiddish but eventyually played with Zoe. Zoe is beautiful and a spunky little thing and her mommy is great!! We played at Zoe's house for awhile and played on their deck then went to Panera Bread to eat!! After lunch we went to the dog park. I don't think either pup was to happy to be there :p Mitzy never left my side and Zoe was adventuring on her own :D There was alot of beautiful dogs!! Poor Zoë just wanted to play, but it took Mitzy a while to warm up to the idea! Speaking of, Mitzy is simply adorable! She has the sweetest face and I loved!!!! the subtle pink streaks Jess had in her hair! She had a whole punk rock look going and she looked so precious! (Zoë was totally jealous of all of Mitzy's cool things, from her matching collar and tags to her rocking pink gear!) We just loved this visit and if this is any indication of what an entire FL meet-up will be like we can't wait! :woof: |
So I'm a crazy Yorkie Mommy.... Zoë's birthday is May 29th, she'll be turning 1 year old! :woof: We don't really have any puppy friends around town so the chances of me being able to arrange a birthday party for her here is pretty slim. :( So I was thinking, would anyone be open to letting me celebrate her birthday 2 weeks late while at the meet-up? :confused: I could make a doggy cake (enough for all the puppies to get a slice)! :) |

Thanks ladies for being agreeable to my craziness. My boyfriend doesn't get why I'd even want to celebrate her birthday! :eek: I told him, just wait until we have a kid and see how birthdays will go! :p I just think it'd be amazing to have doggy friends for Zoe to play with and a cake on her birthday! And if I can't make that happen here around her birthday then gosh darn it (with everyone's okay) I'll make it happen at the meet up! :cool: :p I LOVE your birthday party Javathon! A hat theme ... amazing! (Especially since I've maybe only seen one dog hat in my entire life!) I really loved the chicken hat! I also can't wait to meet all 4 of those little ones! Jess, I didn't realize Mitzy and Zoe's birthdays were so close together! Zoe and I would totally love to see you ladies whenever you'd want to visit! (We went to the dog park this afternoon and I thought of you, and as we walked there on the path I thought of the lady with the weimaraner.) I'm just super excited about the meet-up, as far away as it may be! :D |

Like ALL OTHER Meet-ups, a deposit needs to be required with your RSVP - as a good faith deposit. All meetups require this because this is VERY expensive, even when we do bare minimum. If people ARE coming, they will understand this and paypal or money order their good faith RSVP - the 20.00 deposit. Im not going to be left broke with enough food toys and treats for 25 people... and no one show. I cant afford to even allow that to be an option. ALL meetups require this as its the intelligent thing to do. Most meetup ask more than 20 dollars but we will not. The economy is BAD - I understand that. I too ask yall to understand that and see this through my eyes. Wearing my shoes! I would be VERY UPSET to be left with all of that - plus unable to leave on the boat fearful someone MIGHT SHOW... just bad news without a deposit. Ive spoken to many that have hosted them and the whole deposit thing really CANT be an option. Rather a MUST!
