| Hey, I was wrong.. it is jaspermom, leave the "s" off........... You can private message her....at the top of the YT screen you should see Search and under there I put Greensboro as the keyword and pulled up 3 pages of talk in which greensboro was mentioned over the years. to Private message (PM) you can go to USER CP and enter a PM for her. You can also go to the MembersList and PM her by JasperMom. I know she will LOVE to hear from you! I will PM you.

| Oh yes I did! I also posted on the other thread. I will help with advice from my past experiences, but someone else will have to do the leg work. I am frantically busy with Habitat for Humanity, full time job, and my rock band. But I will definitely attend with my two girls if someone else can pull this together! Let's not wait too long so it's not too hot, OK? Unless of course you have it inside like we did. Then you can have it anytime. MEET UP MEET UP MEET UP MEET UP!!!!

The hall cost us $65/hour. The meets were 3 & 4 hours. I charged $5 per person or $10 per family because I wanted it to be a family event, and I also purchased a little food, (other people brought food too), and all the beverages, ice, paper goods for the food, decorations, pup snacks, etc. I would have speakers come and would buy thank you gifts for the speakers. It was my intention to only cover the costs with the entry fee, and anything over that would be donated to yorkie rescue. However, we never got the costs covered, although we had advertised extensively. It was a lot of work for one person, so on the third meet, we did it by committee. It was a lot easier to put together because the team helped with the advertising and asking retailers for door prizes, and they really did an awesome job. I was just burned out on it by the end of the third one, and didn't want to sink any more cash into it. I am not saying I lost a ton on it, I didn't, but I was in a position at that time that I did not have a whole lot of extra cash and couldn't afford to lose any... People volunteered to cover the cost with me, but pride wouldn't allow it so I sucked it up. But I decided I wouldn't try it again after the last one in 2006. SO! Details on the speakers: The first one was Yorkie Rescue, then a dog behaviorist, (that was really interesting!) and the last was a dog bake shop & groomer. That was pretty cool too. We also did dog costume contests, and that was a hoot! I think that if I were to get my NC Yorkies email list folk to come together again, it would be an informal playdate, and not a formal meetup. But I would be happy to attend your meetup anytime you want to put it together! I will also let all the folks on my email list know about it, (they aren't all YT members) and maybe some of them would attend as well. GOOD LUCK, and please let me know if you have any more questions.

| yorkie meetup Hi Jaspersmom! My little Winston and I went to your Halloween Party about a year ago when the behaviorist was there....we had such a good time.... Greensboro is a long drive for me, but I would be interested in a meetup somewhere...maybe in a state park so the cost would be kept down.... roxanne
