What happened to the LEAVING PUPPIES ALONE WHILE ON VACATION thread? I was anxious to see what was going on with that thread and what the poster decided to do, but was told I don't have permission to access that thread. Does anyone know what's going on...it was getting very interesting. |
I think that poster was just trying to get everyone riled up and s/he was banned. I guess the thread is missing, too, then? |
I was wondering that too - I had posted reply - and then read further - looks like it was getting nasty - I think the poster was an imposter - so to speak. |

The member was banned and the thread was deleted. I tried looking for it also. |
As soon as I saw that thread title I knew I wouldn't touch it with a bajillion foot pole. I think the poster was a troll (someone who posts just to get people riled up.) It wouldn't be the first time one of those was around here... |

I was shocked when I read the thread yesterday, How could this person even think of leaving a 8 week old puppy alone that long of time? Then I went and read other post from the person and thought that they just wanted to get people riled up! All this person post had nothing but nagitive things in it, and I was like why do you even have pet's if this is how your lifestyle truly is? Hopefully they stay away and not try to get back on using a different user name! |

I think admin removed all the threads related to that story and the former member. Last night I remember her/him posting a thread like, ''...how can I be removed from YT?...blah, blah" Like she wanted everyone to know she didn't like the advice she was getting and obviously was upset and completely defensive. I looked for that thread and it's gone..along with the one about leaving the yorkies at home while he/she's away on vaca..which is so selfish it breaks my heart. Let's hope that she'll/he'll make the right decisions for the puppies' sake. :( |
Cybil tdessaur is a member here and she happens to be my exhubby's fiance...well we were at my sons game last night and she was like Did you read where the person asked about leaving their puppy alone for like days??? I said WHAT??? she must have seen it early on because people had not gotten to rude with him yet I said NO WAY Crap will hit the fan soon there is No Way the regular Yt'ers are not chewing him up! I knew right away (or at least guessed) WHO IT WAS AND FIGURED THE THREAD WOULDNT LAST LONG AND SURE ENOUGH (sorry caps lock :eek: Im not retyping...lol) anyway i figured it would be gone that or someone got their/his address and stole the puppy :p |

This person just keeps showing up under new names. I wonder if admin can take any legal recourse on the grounds of harrassment or something? I'm not sure how you can prevent someone from getting on though. My ex is a cop, I'll ask him next time I talk to him. |
I don't think you can do anything being as it's a public forum other than to boot him each and ever time we catch on to him. The only way he can have an issue is if he threatens someone. |

So this person has ben on before and used other user names? I am new here so I did not know that it has happened before, You think this person would have a life with all the hours they are gone from home and traveling all the time! This site has been a great place for me to learn things and get answers about getting my puppy. I did not know that you should not use a coller for a Yorkie when going for a walk untill I came here! Every one has been so nice and helpful to me. It's a shame people have to get on and cause trouble! This happened at another site I go to and They were able to block the person somehow, I think it had something to do with having to give an address and/or phone number. It has ben awhile but I am sure that they were banned for good somehow! |
