Interestingly, there are some ads that pop up advertising OTHER dog forums. Against the rules of this forum to do that, but here the pop-ups are inviting over to another site/forum! The last one I just saw was associated with the word puppy. I'll see if it pops up again.

Edit: Hmmmmm.... did not do it this time. Wonder if after you pop-up on a certain word if you continue seeing it? Is it random? I know -- who really cares about something like that on a Saturday morning, right? rotfl......

OHHHH just ignore it. no biggie. as long as your cursor is not on it, nothing will pop up

I agree. But, it's another way for YT to make money. Yet, I don't believe the regulars are gonna like them.

At least these pop ups are safe. There are sites that have truly awful ones and these aren't as bad as they could be. I won't ever click on one that's for sure..

I finally figured out how to turn mine off. I clicked on one of the green underlined words & when it took me into the information, I found a place where it said to disable them.

Anyone wondering how to disable them, put your cursor over a green word, then the deal will pop up click the ? mark in the corner it will take you to a page and towards the bottom it says something like if you want to disable them click here or something!

I wish I could find where to turn them off! I'm lagging so bad now and it's hard to scroll down, it's so slow.

Are you guys having pop ups without clicking these links ??

I'm not ...but have a pop up stopper & SEE the links but so far nothing has popped on me....I've been reading on the net to see how to prevent the big ads...but from what I can tell...people using Mozilla have the easiest fix...

edited - I just hovered over some and there WAS a pop up but small ones...

You can disable the links by running your cursor over a green word so you get the pop-up...then click on the ? in the upper right hand corner...that will take you to a page where you are given a link to click on and it will disable the green link words. :thumbup:

I did it!!! They are gone! That's great! :D And it was easy. After you click on the ? scroll all the way down to the bottom in the last sentence. It starts with However. :animal36
