Well,they say good things come in small packages and I know there aren't alot of us who have said we're willing to help but it's a start. But without a forum of it's own, like the yorkie railroad help needed, it just gets lost. Maybe you have good reasons for not wanting to do this, but could you respond to the post to give us an idea of what your thoughts are? Thanks in advance.

Don't know if the lack of reply is a good thing or a bad thing. :confused:

It might be a good idea. I understand the interest in it. If you didn't know the person asking for hep, you could check them out with other YTrs before you made a decision to help.

Admin - what do you think?

Hey everyone :) As far as I know there have only been 2 YT Railroad threads so beginning a separate forum isn't really necessary at this time (in the future it very well be a possibility-and that would be great). I know that there are many of us willing to help when we can and if it is needed in our areas.

Threads get lost because they are posted in General Yorkie Discussion which is a forum that is "abused" in a sense and full of threads that belong in other forums (such as health & diet, training, grooming talk, etc.). I try to move threads to correct sections but it is nearly impossible to keep up.

How about this, we all make an effort to bump those Railroad threads up as often as necessary so they are seen by as many people possible :) We can all do that right? Let's get these babies home...........

I too can only remember 2 so far but love seeing people offer to help and hopefully we'll know the end result if one actually happens - HAS one happened yet ?? I would think I'd know it if it did :confused: but don't think one has actually had to be used yet -

I think some people might be shy about asking for help - I know I would. I like the idea of having a seperate thread. JMO :thumbup:

There are more ways that help is needed than yorkie railroads as I mentioned in my original post, however, I'll take it that now is not the best time to start another forum and move on from there. Thanks for your response!

I think it was a great ideal. And Im so happy to hear members wanting to jump in and help other members get these baby's to their new forever homes.
The other two YT railroads turned out great and Thanks to simonandhallie and other great members they kept those threads bumped up until the railroad was completed and the baby's made it to their homes. I myself have just seen this thread and Im sure others would post, Just they havent been on yet. THat was sweet of you to post and let people know in advance that you are so willing to help. Keep up the good work .
