Very discouraging Please forgive me if I am being over sensitive but....Does anyone ever post and get hardly ANY responses? This happens to me ALL of the time and I am starting to get a complex. :( :confused: I am now going to make it a point to post to any threads that I see with little or no replies. Anyone else feel this way? |
Don't feel that way, I'm sure everyone has at least a thread where nobody responds. Maybe they don't have an answer for you. |

:( I think it happens to all of us at one time or another, don't feel bad. I know sometimes if I am short on time I'll read the threads but don't necessarily take time to post. I'm going to try really hard not to do that anymore. :) |

I also reply to as much as I can... You know...it does happen....and its not on purpose..its happened to me too. This is such a large forum...there is so much to see and look at...and in the meantime...more and more new posts are steadily coming in.:rolleyes: I'm finding now that I don't post much...just mostly read and reply and even with that..its hard to keep up...lol;) With this Forum...its one of those jump right in things.....:aimeeyork |

I have been there but I can't get upset because I find myself mostly reading and not responding. When I am on the computer it ties my phone line up so I can't stay on long at a time but today I am getting a second line so look out. You will see me everywhere. |
I read alot too, and not necessarily reply... I do try to always reply to posts that have fewer answers cuz it has happened to me and I was disappointed too.... BUT, I have never had a problem getting answers anytime I have posted a "problem".... Thanks everyone for that! d |

posting I read alot of posts, but do not always respond thinking others will... From now on I am going to leave a pebble... I have heard when Jews visit graves, they leave a pebble on the tombstone...I am not Jewish, but when I went to Arlington, I put pebbles on all the graves I stopped and looked at... |

Occasionally - I think it may be the questions we are asking. Some of the same questions are asked "over and over and over" again......and, I for one, have become tired of giving the same answers to the same questions dozens of times. (I'm thinking about such common topics as "potty training, barking, etc. At times, I notice some of these questions getting few or no responses.) I think it might be good for some of us to run a searchand see what has been already been said about topics we are wondering about -- rather than asking the same questions so often. **** I have been a member here for a while now - and have answered a couple thousand threads. I'm really being more selective now about the ones I answer. Because as I mentioned, I have already answered some of these same questions dozens of times. I will jump in though - if I feel I have something new to add. But - if something new and different is being asked - and no one has replied - I will -- if only to bump it up -- reply to it so that others might respond also. ***** For sure - don't take this personally. I too feel that way sometimes, and not always when asking a question. Sometimes when I post and get no replys I have wonder if it is not being seen by others,LOL, ....I try not to take it personally though because I get so much enjoyment out of reading everyone else's posts.....I love the picture section too......I will try to respond to posts that have little or no replys, but usually don't on the 2 pager's. |

This has happened to me, too. But since I read many more posts than I reply to, I pay more attention to the # of views and figure if I get little or no responses, there must not have been anything to say. |
It happens to most of us, don't take it personal. I try to answer posts with few replies as much as i can, but this is a huge forum and threads get lost because there's so many "new posts" to read ;) Just keep posting :) :) |

Don't take it personally. There are so many posts on here now that things seem to get buried before you know it! Go back to your posts and bump it up so more people see it. It is frustrating that you don't get answers. Hang in there, it's a friendly community, just getting really big! |
I understand how you feel; I don’t like starting threads because I know it will bother me if no one responds. Lol. But obviously it’s not personal because look at all the people who responded today. See, you are loved. :D |
