I've seen many posts where random words are linked and it brings you either to eBay or amazon.
This thread for example, second post "cat george" is linked, brings me to eBay when clicked. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-likes-do.html

Also here, post 7 http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-hes-hurt.html

Everywhere I'm seeing it actually.

Edit:eBay is linked and I didn't put the link there.

Oh, thats weird. I hadn't noticed the hyper link in the "he's hurt" thread until you pointed it out just now. Why are we getting links to ebay? Have we been hacked?:confused:

Same here.... rover.ebay * I don't click on random links. I also noticed the ads at the top of all pages are getting more personal... good job Google! (Like if I left something in a shopping cart somewhere)

I don't see any hyperlinks at all...so it must be a browser / cookie issue. I'm on a PC using Firefox/mozilla btw.

I see the hyperlinks too, and when I point the cursor at it without clicking is exposes "link added by VigLink"

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Firefox browser.

I switched browsers to Safari, and even more hyperlinks show up, including one on my post above the workd "MacBook" links to a bizrate add selling MacBooks.

Strange....

I'm using Firefox Mozilla, but I'm on an iPad. I see the hyperlinks.

I just realized I must be on safari if I'm on an iPad. I use Firefox on my PC.

I see the links in Firefox and Chrome on both my Toshiba laptop and Macbook.

VigLinks to ebay.

Wow, I hadn't noticed them on too many other threads, but they are all over this thread and the previous linked thread. I can see them from IE, Chrome and iPad.

I see it linked the word Ipad to ebay too.

Last night I was using the old iPad. Now I'm on the new one, and yes I see even more. I haven't logged on my MacBook yet

LOL I just made a post about this exact same thing.
Then I was told about this post.

It seems every one is using a different program, so it doesn't sound like that is the problem. I think it's YT. Admin may download a program or the site is hacked.

I know it's not happening on other groups I am on, ONLY YT. '

You may see it all over the Internet that's not new, but what is new is they are showing automatically in posts on YT, which it has never done until just a few day's ago.

Yes and usually if you put in a link, when you edit in "go advanced" you will see the html code. In this case when you edit, it seems like nothing is there.

PS I also see them on my macbook

ok... the hyperlinks are "provided" by viglink. Viglink is a program and someone or somehow the code was written into yt.

I was gonna make a tjread about this too. I startrd seeing them yesterday on my laptop using Opera browser and i see them on my phone too, using Dolphin browser :confused:

I think it only started happening about a month ago, but lately it's really bad.

Me too, I noticed it yesterday. Clicked on some word that I thought was a link to a pic & it took me to ebay.:confused: I'm on firefox on my desktop if it makes any difference.
If I mouse over it, it says: Link added by Viglink...like Shinja mentioned. What is it, it's annoying.
