for the past 3 days every time i come here 5 windows open up one on top of the other. sex sites,selling sites etc.. it only happens when i click onto this link.
please get your host company or web tech to check out your links to see if someone didn't hijack your site.

is anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't experiences anything like that either. I'm praying I don't. Is there any possibility that you've been hacked??

Sounds like you may may need to get a better pop-up blocker.

i am using a mac, there are no viruses written for them as far as i know. it only happens with this site, no other site. some hackers re-direct users when they go to a site. that is what is happening here. it would be beneficial if they looked into it also.

I've reported it several times. It happened to me on the old server. I'm disappointed that this carried over to the new one. :(

It doesn't have to be a virus, but mac's are no longer safe like they once were. 5 Mac AntiVirus Tools for OS X (And Do We Need Them?) | Mac.AppStorm Popup's are different than a virus, are you using safari? Mac Tips and Tricks

well that sucks..yes i am using safari, what is the difference between safari and firefox?. i will look at your links.. thank you

really? what did you do to stop them? are you using safari too or a mac?

Sorry this is happening to you. Must be pretty disgusting! Hope nothing awful is being done to your computer while those things are up. Keep us updated.

I'm on a Mac & use Firefox with Adblocker, and have had no problems.

Most Browsers have some type of pop up blocker. A pop up is usually an ad, sometimes a survey, but it's trying to make you click it and go somewhere. Safari is just one type of browser, that many mac users use. PC users might be using Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome or mozilla or something else. Do you know what browser you are using? If you aren't getting pop up ads, you probably have your bowsers pop up blocker already turned on. If you using IE, you can go to "Tools" and you can see on the menu if your pop up blocker is on, and also you can change the settings.

i think i am going back to fire fox lol. i never had issues with it.

I went to tools and it is indeed on!....I do still get ads...like everytime I am trying to watch a video, there is some kind of ad that runs right before it...and there is NO "X" you can click on to turn it off.... I have a Dell Computer, Internet Explorer XP.....my friend set this up....I have NO idea what this is!

I am a Mac user and I use Safari and I haven't had any issues. Do you have an adblocker?

I don't even get the ads at the top of the screen anymore because I have an adblocker.

Yeah, you'll still get ads, especially on youtube, but these pop up ads are different, they will come every two seconds if you don't have a blocker. You can be reading something and an add will pop up. Nothing that you can do about the youtube ads that I know of.

I have a mac use safari and so far not getting this. I do have my pop up blocker on.

I have problems on my tablet. I don't have this site saved in favorites on my tablet, so every time I Google yorkie talk, then click on the link, I get a spam message that says "your page is loading" and then some garbage site comes up. I go back, re-click on the Google link again and then I get the real site. This happens every time and only with yorkie talk. I've never had it happen on my tablet with any other site.

If it's checked off, it's off, I would check it "on" if you want to block the pop up ads.

i doubt it is an issue. i am at the library now and it happened here too. filestore72.info. online back up solutions. that is the page that opened now, usually it is 4 different windows.

ok, if i deconstruct this situation,the only conclusions i can come up with are:

1) several people's computers have an outdated pop up blocker
2) this site is being supported financially by the companies that are popping up
3) this site is being spammed or hijacked

maybe the admin can or owner of this group can join the convo and help clear things up?

Sorry for the confusion, but if it's checked "off" it may be off. I understand that when some people make a list they check things off as they are completed, but with computers a checkmark next to something could mean that that's is the state in which it is.
