Buddy and Ignore List
 
I keep forgetting that ADMIN has gave us this wonderful option. You have the right to place people on the ignore list. IMHO this can save you a lot of frustration. You don't have to see what they have posted. This would save a lot of dogfights and useless arguments. IMHO some folks would get tired of being ignored and not being responed to on dead issues that they are trying to spread gasoline on the fire.

Yes, thank you Admin. Now there is NEVER an excuse to post off topic/rude comments in posts because of becoming frustrated.

I love my buddy list! I've got lots of people on it so that I can easily see when they are on line! :thumbup:

I've recently tried my ignore list and it's theraputic for me!

Okay . . . since this has been a horrible two weeks here, I've used the ignore list for the very first time since becoming a member.

Girl, if you were on someone's ignore list, they wouldn't be able to read your reply. It collapses the person's (who you're ignoring) reply. You see a small rectangle that has something like...Reply by ***** and that's it.

Yes, this is a perfect solution for those who need it...I have always encourged it's use to promote a drama free site. I am glad to see that some are using it.

Maybe now some of my threads where everyone seems to love to make the worst comments and deliberately take them off topic to get them closed, will have a chance of survival.

I don't know about the comment about the "horrible two weeks" though??? What is that all about or maybe it is beter not to inquire??? Shhhhhhhhhhhh........never mind. :confused:

Well... I am not sure if anyone will see this post... but I will post anyways- lol.

I will also use the ignore feature, maybe it will make this place feel a little more comfortable for awhile, and I won't get so frustrated.....

UMMMMMMMMMMMM! I wonder if this is what is going on with my posts. I am being "ignored" No, really, when I post a question hardly anyone replies so I just wondered if I have ticked some of you off. hope not. I really love all of you even if we do sometimes have a difference of opinion.

I really doubt anyone intentionally ignores someone if they're asking valid questions - where are you posting them ? Sometimes many people don't feel they can answer and that can account for just a few replies - You're not being ignored though Sugar ....

This is a big site and most everyone is here for the same reasons - to make friends and gather or share information - but sometimes it's TOO Big and questions can be overlooked. Keep posting ok ? :)

What if someone posts a quote by someone on your ignore list? Does it show up then? Threads could become hard to understand for those who get "frustrated" easily. Just a thought...I don't know...I certainly think it is a great feature for those who need a little extra help keeping their blood pressure under control. :p

Now ya'll know some of you are WAY to nosey for the IGNORE button :D but it does work.... and one day I think I'll have to use it myself..it's starting to feel like a good idea ....and I DON'T have a blood pressure problem.....
