I know Jeanie, there are two different threads in "site comments and Suggestions" asking admin what's up? I'm getting a little worried that my computer, paypal info, etc. is being infected and hacked into. |
Hopefully Admin will be able to fix the problem quickly. It should not be that difficult. But, of course it's a holiday weekend. Everything always happens on the weekends (especially with pets):rolleyes: |
Make sure your virus software is up to date. I also run Ad-Aware and Malwarebytes regularly. |
I got this message when I was on Firefox but when I when in on Safari I didn't get that message. I'm using a MAC and this is the first time I have gotten a message like this on any site. |
Wow my work comp just crashed this week and I go on YT at work. I got a bunch of viruses on it!! I'm guessing its from coming on here! |
I ran my anti-virus and it catch a couple suspicious things after i got that message yesterday and the day before... I was using firefox first time i got the message of warning, than i was using Explorer when my anti spyware went on warning again :O XOXO |
I'm getting the same thing also. I clicked on details and it said that nothing suspicious or malicious has been on YT's site for 90 days. I'm thinking that maybe Google and Firefox may have changed their security preference settings.. |
I just got the same message when using Firefox, but using Internet Explorer I have no problem... |
I've had two warnings come up while here in the last month or so. |
I got that to on my MAC. but not on the compac. Ive been on here too. hope that they cure the problem. wouldnt want any hacking going on |

I'm getting the same thing, admin ran a check w/google and they confirmed that there is no malware on the site. The message confirms no problems within 90 days, but I suspect that the problem may emanate from some of the 3rd party ads that run above and below. I would suspect that as long as your antivirus is running and up to date and you don't click on any of the ads you should be okay. Also be sure to erase any cookies when you leave the site that way if any of those ads are embedding spyware it should eliminate those. |

Humm funy you should say this because i cant go on TY at work anymore because i got so many virus from it that my work computer had to be sent away to be fixed. When it came back silly me went on YT again and i got all the virus back and it had to be sent away again. I have not been on YT since at work and my work computre is fine. I am now worried about my home computre after reading that. eeek! |

A team of engineers has been working on this issue for YorkieTalk all day and we believe the problem has been isolated and now fixed. We have upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin as well. The link that Google lists as potentially malicious has had their account suspended. It may take a day or two for Google to remove the "Reported Attack Page" warning message. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. |
Thank You Admin. Wow does that mean a member was doing this. That is terrible. People who do that should be horsewhipped. |

Same problem here with my Macbook Pro. Safari wouldn't let me log in so I couldn't post but got on through AOL. |
Its kinda scary. I am on using Safari but can't get on any other way. Makes you wonder...some of the ppl who have been banned and then go make another site, makes you wonder if they come here and try to cause problems for YT. Makes me nervous!!! |

Mozilla still won't let me on. I had to disable the Block Reported Attack site option - and it still wouldn't let me in without clicking on the ignore this warning message. Oh, I also had to log in again - usually I am automatically logged in. Didn't have to get a new password though. But the first time I did enter my username and password it said it was an invalid password, but it took it the second time. |
I have not logged on the last few days because my anti virus kept catching something. It would block it but I was concerned. However, today nothing is being caught so hopefully it has been taken care of. |
It looks like Google has rechecked YT and found it clean now. Thank you for your patience and for alerting us! :) From Google: Status of the latest badware review for this site: A review for this site has finished. The site was found clean. The badware warnings from web search are being removed. Please note that it can take some time for this change to propagate. |
