Admin....what's this? I tried to go to one of my subscribed threads on YT and after my click I am directed to this warning page. Also, I tried to click on another thread, that was showing before someone posted on that thread. It did the same thing, so it's not that specific thread. |
My Norton firewall killed quite a few attacks lately and I'm thinking of not coming here again... :( |
Thank you for letting us know. We have thoroughly looked over our site and especially the link to the Breeder review and did not find any badware, viruses, malware or spyware. We have absolutely no idea why we were shown to have any badware, as we know we do not have any on our site. We believe the problem was on their end, and thankfully it appears to have been fixed now. We just got this message from Google Webmaster Tools: Google has not detected any malware on this site. |
Thank you very much Admin for checking into this and glad to know we're okay now:) |
Glad to know the site is ok. I got Norton alerts 3 times the day before yesterday when I went to log on here, but nothing yesterday or today. |
I was also getting the threat warnings yesterday when trying to click on the Breeder, Vet and Groomer reviews. No problems today - and it did seem to clear up by yesterday evening. |
I have gotten several threat warnings as well. I got 1 tonight as well when I went to the homepage... ??? |

I too got a warning when first logging on to YT tonight...never had that happen before. |
I've been having this problem for about 2 weeks now. Also a message that says ( you are trying to enter a restricted area ) don't know what that's about. |
2 Attachment(s) I have received this as of today. I am unable to visit any page on YT without a warning (image attached). I get warnings every time i try to reply to a thread as well. I'm on an older computer for fear of harming my main computer. Admin - I've attached 2 images for your review. Here is a link from google explaining the situation with the site. Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for yorkietalk.com I think this is something that really needs to be taken care of IMO. |
I just received a call from Connie and she is getting this message and can't get rid of the warning when she tries to go to another forum. She clicks on something and it goes back to the red warning again. Could Admin please check this out again as it is very scary and preventing people from being able to get on YT. Thanks |
2 Attachment(s) I too am receiving those messages, I had to switch to opera to get into here, it has shut 2 browsers down. |
I am getting this warning also. I use safari browser on my iPad? |
I keep getting the same warnings as others are getting. Also, on Firefox I couldn't even post, I had to start up IE again...which I don't like using! Please admin tell us what is going on....are we getting viruses? |
I have been trying to get on for a couple of hrs. I couldn't even get in YT at all. I just now click on the "i understand this may harm my computer, proceed anyway" That's the only way I could get on just now. I was going to post a screenshot of what I am getting but when I click on attachments it just brings up the red warning page:confused: |
I'm sure it will be taken care of. In the meantime, make sure you are up to date and continually running any anti-virus software. |
if I try to come to YT with Mozilla I get the same attack messages. I am in here now using IE8 This also happened yesterday as well.:( |
I always use google chrome. I just tried to get on with IE8, I didn't get the red warning screen but a pop up came up that said malware was blocked. |
I'm having no problems, I use IE and Norton, but two Yorkietalk members have emailed me and said they can't get on Yorkietalk because Google blocked their computers from the site, saying it was infected. |

Thanks for letting us know. We are currently looking into it and we will report back as soon as we can. We do take badware and viruses seriously. Thank you. |
A team of engineers has been working on this issue for YorkieTalk all day and we believe the problem has been isolated and now fixed. We have upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin as well. The link that Google lists as potentially malicious has had their account suspended. It may take a day or two for Google to remove the "Reported Attack Page" warning message. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. |
Another thing that keeps happening is when I try to go to a thread I have subscribed to from my inbox, I click on it and when it takes me to YT I have to log in every time and every time I click on remember me. Something crazy is going on here. |
