I have noticed on several other forums that you can see the number of people in chat without having to actually go in to chat. I wonder if we could have that here?? I think more people would enter chat if they knew there was someone in there to chat with.

That would be a great Idea. I wish it would open a separate window too. So you can look at message board while chatting without having to go back in and open another window.

i often go into the romm, names are there,but nobody chats!

excellent idea. the few times i've gone into chat i feel a bit disconnected from the main board. there's a lot of quiet/down time in chat. it would be nice to multi-task
