Really Weird Thing Going On With Scrolling/Opening Threads?
 
Ever since yesterday, whenever I click on a thread or do a search and it opens up the page/thread, instead of the page loading and it going to the very TOP of the thread....when it is done loading the thread, it takes me to the very BOTTOM of it (meaning the VERY BOTTOM of the page)...and I then have to scroll all the way up :confused: Does anyone have ANY idea at all what is going on or why it is doing this? It is driving me bonkers, LOL.

Also, it is only doing this with YT, no other web sites :confused:

I also forgot to mention that it does this when I reply to a thread as well. I click on "POST REPLY" and when it loads the page it takes me alllll the way down to the bottom...and then I have to scroll back up to where the box is at that you type in. Same thing for when I am starting a new thread AND when I go to preview a message that I just typed....and when I submit a message that I just posted on the board as well. I don't get it??? :confused:

I thought something was wrong with my computer. I'm in my late 50's and just starting using a computer so this was really confusing me. Glad to know it's not just me.

Holy smokes! :eek: Just look at all the replies pouring in already! I had NO idea that there were so many others that were having this same issue! Glad I said something!

I had no idea WHAT was going on....at first I thought it was just my computer as well, but then I started paying close attention and noticed that it wasn't doing it with any other web sites, only YT :(

Hopefully Admin will pop in here soon! :D It's probably just a glitch of some kind. ;)

Well, I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one. I thought I had to reimage my computer as a result of a virus or something... :rolleyes:

I'm having the problem too; what kind of browser are you using? I use Internet Explorer, do you use something different?

I'm using Firefox, I think a few of the people who posted on this thread also use Firefox too.

Did one of the banners change to the ones you normally get? Maybe that is effecting how the page is displayed. The banners that show for me are different to the ones you get because of me being in another country.

Is this happening with every thread? Does the Google ads on top and bottom of the thread still show up? We have not changed anything with YorkieTalk in quite some time now.

We believe the scrolling issue may be due to a Danbury Mint Google ad, which just recently started showing up. We will send this information to Google and hopefully it can be resolved soon. Thank you for your patience.

It doesn't happen with everything I try to open, if I just go to "General" or something like that, it's fine. It happens when I open a thread, and it takes me to the bottom of the page, where the Danbury Mint Google ad is.

I noticed when the ad is placed at the top of the page, the page opens correctly. However, if you are posting a reply, it will take you to the top of the page, instead of to your reply.

Ditto! Only my Danbury Mint ad is at the top of YT.

Edited to add: Now the Danbury Mint ad is currently at the bottom - LOL.

I thought it was just me...it even happens when i click on the icon to go to "first unread post" on a thread. It's been taking me to the very bottom too, and did when i just clicked reply. the danbury mint ad has been at the top and bottom of the pages.

I thought it was me. I just knew I had messed up something somewhere. Sometimes instead of bringing up the thread it will bring up Petco. THen, if I try to skip some pages and go to the end of the thread it will go off and go back to signing-in. I am just a visitor. Maybe I'm not as dumb on this thing as I thought.
