YT Freezing???? :D Seriously....lately, it seems that the screen freezes and then I have to exit out of YT and then sometimes, I can't get back on for awhile.....Is it my computer OR is this happening to others? It doesn't happen all the time...but when it does, it is aggravating......I go thru YT withdrawls!:cool: Do we know what is causing it? |
I've been having trouble for the last couple of days too. I thought it was just me so I restarted my mac a couple of times hoping to clear it up. Phew... good to know it's not just me. |
Happens to me allllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time...and I cant get back on for around 5-10 minutes..happens between 5-10 times a day..depending how often I go on YT.. Dawn |
It happens to me too.. Usually later at night. I can't seem to get on YT.. then when I finally do I freeze... so I don't know if its YT or AOL..:rolleyes: |

Phew.....well, I guess I am glad that it isn't just me....I was afraid my computer was getting ready to crash on me or something! I wonder what the deal is? There are no ads that would be bogging it down, it's strange!!! |

I have had this happen to me all week!! I know it was the site because I could go to any other site or forum without it freezing up on me like it did here. It has just now started to getter better in the past day or so. |

Was trying to post yesterday and it took me off the page and said that I had "timed out". By the time I got back on and resent my post, it then showed up twice. I then edited my 2nd post as a mistake. I pop on and off at various times of the day/night and that's the 1st time it has happened to me. I was able to get on any other websites so I assumed it was heavy traffic on YT on a Sat. afternoon! |
It was freezing up on me all day yesterday...I made a post and it posted 4 times....I had to shut down and reboot to be able to get back on YT???? I could not figure out why?????:( :rolleyes: :( |

Ok....it is really bad for me today! :( I have to keep going totally out then back in. Lots of freezing up and takes a looonnnggg time to load the page. It is NOT my internet connection. It is for sure this site. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. (maybe with the extra $$ they get from the calendars they sale! :D 0 |
Today has been really bad for me also......very very slow loading pages, some freezing ......I have checked with my internet and it is not my service - as other sites are working fine. The first time I tried to respond to this thread I waited 4 minutes for it to load to allow me to post and then it froze........yikes!! |
Happens to me to at least 2x a day, its so fusterating when your reading thru a post, and go to changes pages, thats when it freezes on me:confused: been having lots of problems with yahoo to:mad: |
We do sometimes go through "peak" periods, where the server can get a bit overloaded. If other sites (like CNN or Google) are working fine, but YorkieTalk isn't, then it's usually YT that is the problem. If other Internet sites aren't working either, then it is probably your particular computer or Internet connection that is the problem and not YT. We are aware of the situation and are working on it with our technicians. Thank you! |
Mine isn't freezing....there are just alot of times when I just plain CAN'T get on period, like the server is down. This has been happening for weeks now, and it really makes me very sad :( LOL. |

Yep, it happens to me as well...and also it fails to load sometimes at night. I have to wait about 5 minutes before I can get it to come up again. |
