| Yorkies Mouth I took my 4 year old Yorkie for her yearly shots and the Vet noticed some tissue on her gums that she thought looked out of the ordinary. Pinkish tissue. The vet mentioned she could have bit her mouth and or possibly a cancerous spot(which scared me). Overall, the Vet was not too concerned, basically said to keep an eye on it. Make sure there is no foul odor or liquid coming out. The spot does not look bad right now, it was not a big deal until cancer was mentioned and this is not something that bothers the dog, the vet just noticed it. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am thinking of taking the dog to another vet for a second look. Thanks, |

| Did you vet mention anything about a papilloma virus. Babybear has these under his tongue. Some dogs do get this. My vet has never mentioned anything about cancer. He just says to watch them and if they interfere with eating then we will take care of them.

| I'd get a second opinion.
