I am not really sure how to begin to tell everyone how my heart is aching for my little "Gizmo". We had to put him to sleep and I am feeling like I let him down somehow. I know it was time but I can only remember how brave he was and how much Love he gave to me and my boys. He brought us all through very difficult times. I am not sure where to go from here.

We Love you Gizmo..

Sorry for your loss! Making a decision like that is very hard. But, I am sure that you did what was best for him and you did not let him down.

I'm so sorry. When my Chihuahua, Petey, died I was beyond devastated. He was my best friend for so many years.

Try to focus on all the happy memories instead of the last sad days and know that he loved you.

It broke my heart to read about Gizmo. I know how hard it is to say goodbye to these precious little ones. Time will help, but you will always miss him. Remember that he will always be in your heart. Sending you hugs and heartfelt sympathy.

Oh, Carol. This is EXACTLY how I felt after having to put my 20-yr-old cat to sleep - that I had let her down! A terribly wrenching feeling. My heart goes out to you and I wish you healing and peace. What you did was kind, loving, and compassionate - keep reminding yourself of that.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how much you're hurting. Please know that you did not let him down. You eased his pain in spite of the hurt it would cause you. That is the ultimate expression of love. Sometimes loving something means letting go even when it hurts. You are in my prayers.

Carol, I am praying for healing in your heart right now. I know how hard it is to love and lose a furbaby. I am glad you found yt. When your heart is ready for a new yorkie, you will find many wonderful breeders here, lots of support and more.

I\'m so sorry for your loss. I had to put my beautiful 3.5 year old yorkie, Charlie, to sleep 3 weeks ago. I know the pain you are going through and the guilt, as well. We did the best we could for the little guys and they know it. They also know our hearts and how very much we loved them. Time will help and your tears will dry day by day. Think of the happy memories and the things that made you laugh.

So..sorry for your loss.. It\'s been over a month I had to put my little Nikki asleep. I knew it was to end her suffering here on earth but I didn\'t want to let her go. Had she died suddenly it would not have felt the guilt I still do. Our minds tell us we did the right thing but our hearts still ache. I believe in God and that all that he made will be in heaven at the end of the world. If I make it to heaven LOL..I know I will see her again. You were a good mommy. He will not be forgotten but your pain will be more bearable with time passing. Please call on me if you need to talk or vent.
