Tink had a good night. Just one little seizure ~3:00. She woke me up by puting her head on my face, but it ended up being just a little one. She went back to sleep right away. My daughter was home with her this morning and in the rush of getting her off to the Twin Cities, I forgot to ask her if Tink seized this morning. She played soooooo hard with Maya last night, I thot all that rough housing might trigger something, but it didn't. "Course I'm not sure how her seizures work since it was an infection that caused the neuro damage. I have to ask the vet next time if there is any difference in seizure triggers depending on the cause. She's a little droopy this evening, but I think she's probably missing Maya. |
oh, bless her heart. I didn't realize she had seizures...somehow I have missed this. I can't imagine having to go through that on a regular basis..I would be so scared!!! I will keep her in my prayers!! Quote:

Just checking in to see how little Tink is doing. Thinking of you and praying for those darn seizures to go away and stay away! |
Aww, poor Tink!! I hope her seizures end up going away. I remember when my one dog had seizures, it was so awful to watch and you just feel so helpless. Does the vet think this is something she will always have or will it go away in time? Hope you feel better soon Tink!! Keep us updated on her progress!! |
Tink Just checking in to send prayers for Tinks good health. j:) |
No seizure last night. She's eating good today too. She's playing like crazy with my daughter's pup Maya and loving every minute of it. I think she needs a pal. |
That is great news, Susie. So glad she is eating and playing. |

Am I seeing another puppy in your future...a Tink play mate maybe??? |
Aaaw! I just found this thread... so sorry about Tink's seizures. Huge hugs coming your way. Tink, hope you had a Happy, Happy Birthday sweetie, and you just carry on gobbling up that chicken li'l girl, ' cause it makes you AND your Mommy feel better. |
Tink had another good night last night and again only a little seizure this morning. I guess the meds are working. Next week the vet will do blood tests and start fiduring out if she has reached the right level of meds in her system. Then he's gonna start switching her over to a different med that shouldn't be as toxic to her liver. She's been so happy this week with little Maya to play with. She's gonna be a lonely girl after next week. Here's a liitle pic of Tink and Maya playing on Tink's B-Day. |
1 Attachment(s) And that's what happens when a puppy hits your elbor with her nose and you hit the wrong button. Here's the pic. |
They are both sooo pretty:) |
The picture of Tink and Maya is darling...what fun it must be to watch those two in action. Very, very happy to hear Tink is doing better...once you get her medication adjusted, she will hopefully do just fine. Seizures are no fun, regardless of the cause. Wish you both well...really!!! |
How cute! I'm sorry I missed this but sending prayers yor way. I know how stressful this is for you. Jessica |
Pretty Girls Oh, the girls are just beautiful and their dresses are so cute. Charlie had another play date this evening, and his is "pooped". His terrier behavior came out and surprised me. Nipped at the big dog in the tail and leg; thank goodness he doesn't have any teeth except molars to cause harm or he could have been reduced to a yelping terrier. Tink will miss Maya and it is great she is socialized, Susie. Sophie was not and she missed out on good playing with other pups. |
