How is Emma doing today?? I hope those resources I PMed you yesterday helped out. I know this is an exhausting sistuation for you and your family.
Please give Emma a gentle belly rub from Babybear and I and tell her we are hoping she is still improving.

Just a little info about checks. Post-dating is not something any bank will recognize. If you take in a check today that has a date of 10/7/07 on it, a bank will cash it anyway. A check is a written contract between the person who wrote the check, and the payee, and the bank doesn't get involved in it except to pay on the demand of the draft.

Also, most vets these days process checks electronically, which means that they actually debit your account just like a debit card with your bank number on your check. They do this because many people cannot afford these expensive services, and check bouncing happens a lot. I'm not justifying the fact that the vets won't help, I'm just explaining how it works.

I hope you can get some help for your precious baby. I think you ought to try the credit card suggestion someone posted. Please keep us updated.

You posted this thread on sep 1st Thats a week this baby has been suffering and who knows when it all started. Im sorry but this thread is starting to get me very upset. That baby is suffering how much more do you think her little body can take? I know how being with out money is, Im broke too, But you can not leave her lay in pain everyday like this and just post how much suffering she is going through. Its making me ill thinking about this poor baby. Do whats right and get her some help Please. My credit card is maxed out but you do what you have to you dont let them suffer like that. you say you cant put her to slepp because it took so long to save up for her and you would be able to get another one, who cares about getting another one at this point. YOu can not leave her to suffer like that.

I've been reading this post since the very first and I couldn't agree with you more. I've been watching the updates and have expected at any moment a report about a vet visit.

You stated at one point that you would sell your car---well, it sounds like it's time. It's cruel to let that baby suffer another MINUTE!

I can't check for updates anymore on this thread. I am so frustrated that this little baby hasn't been treated, YET! It's breaking my heart to think about what she's going thru.

I hope she is feeling a little better. Please keep us posted as we are all very worried about her.

I'm right there with you. A day or two ago I said I would be happy to donate to help little Emma. I just can't follow this thread anymore.

Most vets will take a downpayment. Shes not going to get any better just laying there. People have come up with some great ideal on here, But I havent seen you going with any of them as of yet. People have even offered gifts what is your vets name? This is the internet and its hard to say whats what. Im not saying your not true to your word, but people dont know you so you got to understand that. Its just been so long this Yorkie has been in such pain, If you cant get her the help she needs maybe call someone that can. its better to hand her over to someone that can help her then let her lay and suffer.

WE HAVE HAD HER TO THE VET TWICE AND ARE FOLLOWING THE VETS SUGGESTED PROGRAM OF TREATMENT. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE ARE NOT CRUSHED BY THE SLOW PROGRESSION OF HER CONDITION & RECOVERY. SOME FOLKS HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY HELPFUL & SUPPORTIVE WHILE OTHERS WOULD HAVE HAD US SURRENDER HER & HAND EMMA OFF TO A STRANGER OR FOR US TO PUT HER DOWN.
