Okay so Daisy went to the vet today. They took a stool sample and will get back to me on that. They gave her something to "harden" her poop. The vet placed her on a basic Purina EN diet (rice & chicken - I don't have time to cook that.:) ) Let's hope she'll be better soon. She hasn't pooped since this morning..so hopefully it is getting better. |
I have been going thur the same thing with Deiter for the last 2 weeks. But I had to rush him to the vets tonight. Now he is pooping clear liquids. And he is there until he gets better. I will keep you in my prayers We will get thur this. I hope. |
Okay, so I have been giving her "Flaygl" since they vets yesterday..She hasn't pooped this morning..She's eating everything (rice & chicken) I'm giving her. Maybe her poop is finally "hardening" up.. I'll keep updating when I can. |
i have the same problem. sometimes edgar's poo is just runny. i took him to the vet and they tested him for giardia, gave me some powdery stuff in a packet (propal?), and some anti-diarreah meds. yesterday i called and the vet said neg for giardia. now i have to start keeping a food, treat, and poo journal. we are going to try and see if he may actually have IBS. poor guy. i also have to keep track of "stressors." |
*UPDATE* Daisy's all better!! So she didn't poop all day yesterday but this morning she did and it was all "normal poop"! :) I'm so relieved and happy that she's alright but most importantly, she's so delighted to be able to run around the house nuts again! LOL.. She was holed up in her pen for FOUR DAYS!!! She's so spoiled, I didn't think she'd last that long in there!..haha.. |
