| Are yorkies prone to sneezing? Zoe seems to sneeze frequently or maybe it's a snort - not really sure. Just one sneeze/snort but it's sounds more like it's deep down in her throat. It's usually just one sneeze or whatever it is and that's it. But she'll do this a couple of times a day usually. My vet checked her for collapsed trachea and didn't seem to think it was a problem but I'm just wondering if yorkies are prone to sneezing/snorting and that maybe it's totally normal. Does anyone else's do this? By the way, I have watched the collapsed trachea video's and what she does is nothing like that. Thanks! |

| Hi Collapsed Trachea is the one thing that came to mind, but since you said she was checked already the only other thing that I can think of is allergies. I have four Yorkies and one Yorkie mix (Maltese/Yorkie) and the only one that does this is my Newman who is 10 and has a collapsed trachea. I wouldn't just accept it. I would watch and maybe even video tape it and bring it to the vet. Maybe then he can get a better idea. Elaine |
