| My baby, JaJa, has been diagnosed w/ Intestinal Lymphangiectasia: A Protein-Losing Enteropathy(PLE) ,a form of severe ibd ( where the intestines are leaking lymph into body cavities- protein & nutrients are not going where they are supposed to....). she's been on prednisone 2x/day and flagyl (liquid) 2x/day. Her 2nd ultrasound & more bloodtests were better - her albumin count is now normal and while her intestines are still leaking but less. She might be on prednisone & flagyl indefinitely/longterm. The vet said Leukeran (a chemo drug) may have to be added.... Does anyone have experience with Leukeran... or prednisone & flagyl longterm?? Thanks! |

| Golly, sure wish I could help, but I have no experience with it. Sounds like you have your hands full. Hope all goes well for you and your baby. |
