throwing up yellow foam apollo seems to be throwing up something that looks like yellow foam? i called the vet and they said it could be because of the shot he got yesterday, but if hes still running around like normal, he should be ok, although hes still active and running around, he doesnt wanna eat or drink, i just made him eat a little and drink a little, does anyone know what it could be? i know he got into oil sheen earlier today |
Hi, I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago, and some of the users on here said that it was probably stomach bile...and it could be caused by an empty tummy. I hope your fur baby feels better!:getwellso |
That is Bile. My Timmy will thow up bile if he goes on a empty stomach for more than 7 hrs. I always make sure Timmy gets something to eat before bed...if not he will throw up bile in the morning. Here is some info I copy from a website: Some dogs throw up yellow bile at about the same time each day, often in the morning. This problem is often due to gastritis, caused by acid in the dog’s empty stomach. Dog’s with this problem will often not eat in the morning either. To counter this problem, a snack at bedtime is the best idea. If this change in his feeding schedule doesn’t help, talk to your vet. He may require some simple medicine. |
ok well, i dont know why he doesnt wanna eat, i tried to make him eat, but even then he only ate a little, does anyone think this could be because of the shot or oil sheen? |
He could probably eat some plain yogurt. Maxwell had the same thing. |
How old he is? How much does he weigh? I would just keep an eye on him. I know my stinkers do not eat much. They are too busy playing and sometimes run to their bowls and eat a few kibbles at a time and then start playing again. I leave their food out all day for them. |
Schnauzer does it too I have a mini schnauzer that has done this her whole life. She is 10 now. We have never really pin pointed anything that triggers it. Just happens every few months. It is very hard to get out of carpet because of its bright color. I use Folex carpet cleaner. Got it at the grocery store. Phoebe (the schnauzer) always recovers after she vomits and just goes about her business. The vet never acted too concerned. Hope your baby feels better soon! |
hes 9 weeks old and weights 3.8 pounds, i put him in his play pen so i can monitor him, but iam gonna have to leave him at 1:30 because i have a dentist app. |
Harvey Is Only 3.5 Lb And He Is 15 Months Old, He Wont Eat Anything Until About 5 Pm - Just Doesnt Want Anything Until Then. He Sometimes Goes Outside And Eats Grass, Which Makes Him Sick And It Is Sometimes Yellow Foamy Stuff. My Other Yorkie Used To Do It Too And He Was Fine And Lived Until He Was 15, So I Think As Long As There Are No Other Problems It Will Be Ok. |
When my guy wont eat I'll sometimes put a little cottage cheese on his food. You have to make certain it's the lowest amount of fat that they make though. The high fat is bad and I believe can cause pancreatitis. But he does love the cottage cheese and if I mix it with his food he'll gobble it up. Good luck - I hope your little guy feels better soon! |

Yesterday Abigail was throwing up bright yellow. I took her to vet because this was the second time it has happened except this time it had blood in it too. They said it was stomach acid. She had a empty stomach so that is all she had to throw up. Make sure he drinks plenty and eats some. Abigail was a little dehydrated too. |
Go to the store and buy some baby food.I buy the chicken-it has alot of water in it. |
