| Not Sure If this is an emergency Ok I'm a little worried about my yorkie. She isn't eating like she should be and she has been drinking alot of water. She has also been sleeping more than usual. Not playing as much as she usually does. I may just be paranoid cause she means the world to me. But she does have fleas which I am having hard time controlling. If anyone knows of a product that would help please let me know. |

| I'm sorry about your baby not feeling well. If you really think your baby isn't feeling well, it might be best to make an appointment to go to the vet. If your dog has a lot of fleas, it can become anemic and get sick. Fleas can also give your dog tapeworms which would cause your dog to be malnourished and can make them sick. How old is your dog? If this is a young puppy, you can bathe it in dawn dishwashing soap. It's supposed to kill fleas. If older, talk to your vet about using something like Frontline or Advantage to keep fleas off.

| I would take her to the vet since she has fleas, just to make sure that's not what is making her feel bad. Is the weather hot there? I know on the really hot days, Jake doesn't eat as much during the day, but he will eat good in the eves when the temps cool off a bit. He still drinks and he lays around alot. But, if I give him a bath and cool him off....he's ready to play! I hope your baby is feeling better soon! |

| I've always used Frontline on babies as soon as they are old enough, they've never known a flea in their life! If they are younger try baby oil, then wash out with dawn and puppy shampoo! This will not kill they eggs so you'll have to keep spraying your carpet, bedding, etc daily and washing her as much as you can until their gown. If you can use frontline, that will take care of them! Good luck!
